JW Community Podcast

I have just become aware of a podcast called the JW Community Podcast and it is very informative and I thought I would share a link here. It was a link from a Facebook group by Alexandra James, who also has a website called JWvictims.org.

All of us have a voice now, whether you are still a Jehovah's Witness (JW) or are trying to escape from its controlling clutches and move on with your own life path. However, please do not feel you need to do any one specific thing once you decide to walk away from the JWs. My outlet is blogging and I enjoy it. I also put my words into a book and provide personal information to those curious about what it's like being raised as a JW and features talking points on dealing with that JW who may be in your life.

I believe that expressing yourself in some way can greatly help you transition away from the JW organization and I have provided many suggestions here on this blog. How about writing a journal or keeping a diary of your exit process from the JWs? Write down your feelings, your thoughts, and even think about what help you may need. Do not feel ashamed to consult a licensed therapist or psychiatrist to help you with your exit journey. Think about joining an exercise group, maybe taking a course in nutrition, or think about how you can focus on your career goals to help to ensure you have a solid foundation in order to successfully build a life outside of the JW community.

Some people enjoy oral communication or social media, that's fine, but never feel pressured you have to do anything publicly. Go inside yourself first and find out who you are. The Watch Tower corporation has kept that secret person inside of you suppressed as if it is something bad. Your heartfelt desires are not inherently bad or wrong, but should be delved into to see the person you are inside. Did you love art, painting, or athletics? Are you confused about religion? How about taking a course at your local college or delving into various non-JW sites to start your research, not only about the JW religion, but religion in general. How about your spiritual journey?  Think about how religion and spirituality are two different things. How about your work? Are you doing what makes you content and can help you prosper in life? Think about these questions and remember, there is no rush in all this. Recover at your own pace and do not always look for someone else to lead you away from the Watch Tower, you can do it yourself and hopefully a few of us ex-JWs can help you along your journey.

It's Sad When They Leave

Yes, very sad, but leave what? The Truth? That is the term indoctrinated Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) say when people leave their religion for good, and never wish to return. Such is apparently the case with a recent murder/suicide that is in the press right now, about a woman and her family who were former JWs and tried to start a life away from that Truth. The JW Truth is that God will bring about an earthly paradise before the generation of 1914 have died. That is, the people who were of a certain age to understand the teachings of the JWs around that 1914 date, so yes, those people are long dead and no Kingdom of God has been established here on earth.

The JW organization has no power to bring about any Godly Kingdom on earth and no power to either take your hope of an eternal life or grant you eternal life, yet that is the lofty position their leadership place themselves. It is a fantasy they sell and it is all about selling and marketing their unique belief system while pushing their agenda of gaining massive wealth and working with world leaders to keep that wealth. You see, you cannot store up treasures here on earth, only the JW leadership are allowed to do that.

I have not researched how many JW-related suicides there have been since it is too sad for me to do that. I really don't want to know. As readers of this blog may remember, my cousin committed suicide last May on the opening day of his regional convention while his JW wife was in attendance only to come home to find him laying on the floor having taken his own life. Oh well, tsk, tsk. She was told that it is up to Jehovah whether or not he will be resurrected in that JW paradise on earth. Suddenly, a life sacrificed to that bloodthirsty God Jehovah might get him a free ticket into that paradise. It is a warped viewpoint the JWs have, and some get caught up in that thinking and can't free themselves.

Reference the blog entry:
  http://exjwquietactivism.blogspot.com/2017/06/dont-give-up.html

My cousin was born and raised in the JW Society like I was and we were very close as kids. My Aunt and Uncle had a beautiful sprawling ranch house and huge garden and I spent most of my summers with them. I have only good memories of my cousin. He was outgoing, funny, and was artistic, and even had a book published many years ago which was part of the reason I wanted my book published. I wanted my story told since the JWs keep us silent for so many years while inside the organization. I wanted to share my experiences with people who probably have no clue what the JWs are really like, and what a torturous existence it is for us kids growing up as a JW. It warps your world view and perhaps we never fully recover since it's all we knew since birth, just the teachings and constant badgering rhetoric from the JW published literature we were to read and recite back its words at all the meetings each week.

My cousin spent several years at the Watchtower farms in New York as part of his voluntary Bethel service and at its headquarters in Brooklyn. When he came back home, he was appointed as an Elder in his congregation. He married and had no children. I had no idea until after he committed suicide, that he began waking up the same time I did and was struggling to leave "The Truth". I wish I had not lost contact with him as I think maybe we could have helped each other. He was eventually deleted as an Elder and became inactive and depressed, and well, decided somehow that taking his own life was an answer to a question that only he knew.

If you are struggling to leave the JW organization, do not hesitate to reach out to a non-JW friend at work, maybe a non-JW relative, or even seek out a licensed counselor or therapist and describe how you are feeling.

I started with the self-help route and sought out an ex-JW on YouTube named Gordon Smith-Duran. His video link is in the footer of this blog. He not only helps people leaving the JWs, but he is an excellent example of someone who has successfully moved on from the organization, and moved on from obsessing about its ever-changing doctrines and policies, and developed a life free from Watchtower. He is a hypnotherapist, English and Spanish teacher, tutor, and his wife [who has never been a JW] have both formed a successful business in Spain.

It's easy to say but difficult to do, but you can do it - what? Move away from the JWs. Stop following their every move or watching all of their videos that are shown at their regional conventions. You know whatever they have to say, is the same old rhetoric designed to instill fear and loathing of the world and be afraid of everything with only the JW Governing Body having power over life and death. They are just mortal men getting rich off of your fear and wanting to watch their every move. Nope, you can move on from that. You are stronger than you think you are.

Sometimes physically changing where you live is a major help in leaving the JWs. Literally figuring out where you want to go next will help clear your mind of the JWs' useless teachings, and start fresh in a new town, new country, learn a new language, anything you want to do is open to you now. You do not need to provide any explanation to any JW about why you left. Wait until you are ready to express yourself. You can simply say that it was no longer your Truth, that life is an open ended question, and having new, positive experiences is how we grow into reliable and healthy human beings, mentally, spiritually, and physically. Don't be afraid of religion. Don't think you have to dump God or be afraid to walk into any church. On the other hand, don't think you have to join anything, there are no rules when it comes to what you want to research about this life and if there is an afterlife beyond the grave. Many ex-JWs become atheist because that is their JW programming. JWs' believe that this life is all there is, that when you die, you are gone forever, that is, if you are not a baptized and active recruiter for the JW organization. So many fall into atheism since they think there is no hope for them when they leave the Watchtower corporation and they basically hate all religion and hate God.

Becoming a spiritual person is not anything to look down on. Spirituality and religion are two different things. Maybe that is a place you can start on your journey to free yourself from JW indoctrination. Never give up on your quest for knowledge, that is the key to happiness and it is available to all of us.

Not All People Want To Help

Except for a few people who I love and respect in the ex-Jehovah's Witness (JW) community [they know who they are], I have learned the hard way to not expect help from everyone.

Several months ago via email, I attempted to contact James Lloyd Evans, a so-called "prominent" alleged ex-JW activist who appears to have deemed himself the King of the ExJW Community, who toured the Warwick JW Bethel Headquarters in New York looking sloppy, disheveled, and dirty, yet was met with open arms by the security guard at the gate and allowed inside to tour the facility and film it for his APOSTATE YouTube channel. Yes, you read that right. Evans makes it no secret via his giant book cover that he is a reluctant APOSTATE. He was ousted from the religion and shunned, yet the JW headquarters at Warwick opened their gates and arms to allow this apostate free rein inside the headquarters and film it for his apostate YouTube channel.

In contrast, other genuine ex-JW activists tried to set up a meeting with the leadership at Warwick to talk about topics like the JWs' two-witness rule to abuse or molestation allegations among JWs before the leadership will take action. These ex-JW activists were ignored and snubbed by the JW leadership. They later engaged in quiet activism by holding up JW victims' awareness signs at the Warwick facility and were met with a raging sprinkler system to chase them away.

So what was my experience? I sent an email to the posted link on JW Survey offering to transcribe a public YouTube video by James Lloyd Evans [a.k.a., John Cedars] called the "10 Tips for Leaving Jehovah's Witnesses", Cedars' vlog no. 38, oh, and asked to be paid for my work. It was my idea for a book project and I could transcribe the videotape leaving out any unnecessary commentary. No specific dollar amount was ever put in writing or demanded by this blogger, it was a business offer.

Mr. Evans proceeded to ignore my email, and later suddenly announced on his YouTube channel he is setting aside his original second book idea and will move forward with a book based on his "10 Tips for Leaving Jehovah's Witnesses", Cedars' vlog no. 38, and he provided a link to that video.

Reference, "My Second Book" by John Cedars where Evans STOLE MY IDEA:

I was shocked when viewing this video because EVANS STOLE MY IDEA and didn't think I would notice.

Not wanting to let this intellectual property thief get away with this, I emailed the plagiarist Evans via JW Survey, to inform him that I realized he stole my idea for his second book and geez, the least he could do was give me the credit I was due. That was not to be. I was stupidly thinking he would take this in stride and throw this humble blogger a bone. Nope.

Now I find that Mr. Evans is actually charging JW victims a fee of $150 - $200 so that their story can appear in his upcoming book. This is outrageous behavior from a person who claims to be an ex-JW activist yet is trying to profit off of victims' stories.

Add to that, Mr. Evans lives with his wife's JW parents in their home, living off their goodwill and charity, while pushing his own young daughter in his videos to appear like they are somehow tortured by the goodwill of those JW inlaws. Well, to each their own, but I actually work to support myself alone having no JW family members supporting my ex-JW activism, quiet or not.

There is plenty of free information online for anyone looking to leave the JW organization. You can do it on your own, and as I have been blogging for over a year now, it is my hope this blog can be of help to anyone who may be struggling with JWs in their lives and want to leave the organization for good.

Much love and respect to all persons reading my blog. You are appreciated.

You will notice the writing style of Lloyd Evans. He did a "rebuttal" email
which was uncalled for. It's similar to his hyper-critical YouTube
rebuttal videos he does against the JW.org podcast and sometimes directed
against persons in the ex-JW community.

Undercover

I've always wondered why the Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) are all basically very rude and mean people when not dealing with their own indoctrinated membership of sheep. I am speaking generally of course since you may find  a rare JW who is friendly and genuinely nice to people, not just to other JWs, but that is a very rare occurrence.

Having been born and raised in the organization, I know first hand the phony facade they present to the world of "satanic" people. Yes, if you are not a JW you are viewed as a part of Satan's world and are under his power. Some of that programming did seep into my own brain of course, it was unavoidable what with the constant rhetoric from my JW parents, relatives, and persons in the Kingdom Halls where we would hear constant indoctrination talks from the platform every week and enforced by the membership after the meetings and in social situations with other JWs.

Notice the non-Christian
symbols at the top corners
of the magazine.
JWs are taught to fear looking into the past of their own religion. They only want to point fingers at other religious groups but you must ignore their Masonic past, along with their use of the term Kingdom Hall which are just Masonic lodges. Some persons who have done research in this area suggest that modern day JWs are simply a faction of the Masons, another belief system with roots in the Masonic teachings. I have touched on this topic before on this blog and the evidence is plainly there and available to anyone who wishes to do their own Internet search on the topic. Others suggest that it is a subversive and secret organization working against democratic governments. Well, anyone who truly is or was a JW can tell you honestly that you are instructed to not go to war, not voluntarily enlist in the military, do not vote for local or national elections, do not carry firearms [notwithstanding those who own hunting rifles to kill animals for food or for fur coats or leather goods], and to generally be a pacifist and not engage in violent conflict of any kind. You are also told to directly disobey your government if it conflicts with God's law, which actually means if it conflicts with Watch Tower's laws. So interesting that the word Watch Tower has many occult and Masonic roots if you care to spend an afternoon researching that too, you won't be disappointed.

The Watch Tower leadership push their own agenda of making their sheep have a defeatist personality, and to keep sending money to their worldwide headquarters or "Bethel" that is located at Warwick, New York, since you the sheep will gain nothing from amassing riches on earth. The sheep have no ability to handle money or a lot of possessions so they are instructed to give it to the ruling class of JWs at the world headquarters so they can manage affairs, not you. This falls in line with the elitists who are in control of worldly affairs that the dumb masses of people can't manage their own lives, but to give up their rights to the ruling class. In this case, that is the JW leadership of men in control of its functions, not simply the figureheads called the Governing Body who handle the religious dogma and insist the sheep die on demand by refusing certain medical procedures involving the use of blood. The JW sheep are only recruiters and are expendable either through illness, disease or from by being a blood sacrifice to Watch Tower by refusing a potentially life-saving medical blood transfusion.

The JW leadership carefully instill blind fear into their followers and that if you leave their own version of what is the truth about the Bible, you can go nowhere but into Satan's world. This is their own belief system, it is not the truth about the world itself. There is truth found all around us and we have to look for it and decide for ourselves what we will hold as our truth or respect others for their truth. The Watch Tower has its members so frightened and hypnotized to their own beliefs that when you leave you feel defeated without even trying.

So what is the Watch Tower corporation? What is their purpose in the global world of other religions? We know governments use religion to control its membership and push and agenda depending on what country you reside in. A CIA document has just been uncovered and was declassified in 2016 where they mention the JW organization in Greece. We know Russia has had its battles with this subversive religious group for decades and has recently banned them from continuing to operate in their country. Even in the U.S. they can be labeled as subversive since you must obey them over the government, oh except in the area of paying taxes. Yes, you must pay your taxes but Watch Tower does not, so better you pay than them while they amass great fortunes in real estate and in the stock market.

On a YouTube Channel [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JnGgoW6KEU ] a declassified CIA document has been found that states that certain political party members have joined the JWs to carry on their activities under the guise of being pacifists, where JWs are prohibited from fighting in any military conflicts. The imagination wanders to America as many of the membership are taking over as having their own agenda. We see it everywhere, the JWs have basically stopped walking from door to door to hand out print copies of their literature and stand at carts displaying random books or brochures. The ones that still go door to door hand out a card directing the householder to go to JW.org, their official website. They refuse to answer even the simplest of questions and will divert you by reciting rehearsed rhetoric about how violent the world is and God will turn the earth into paradise. Nothing of substance will be discussed by JWs anymore. This is a major turn of events in their recruitment activities, probably since about 2006. Yes, they are being infiltrated by people with their own agenda.

The link to the document I am referring to, can be accessed here:

Numerology also played a huge part in the formation of this pseudo religious movement. They hide behind Scriptures that they carefully construct in their own translation called the New World Translation, yes a new world order pushing the agenda of the elite ruling class of this globe. It's interesting how they came up with the 1914 date of destruction of all earthly humans who did not serve this god Jehovah. Pastor Russell, the founder of the International Bible Students [now owned by the Watch Tower corporation], first said the end of this system of things would occur in 1914 based on some miscalculation of the measurements found at the Great Pyramid of Giza, it didn't make much sense. But when the end didn't happen he changed it to the Gentile times have ended and God's kingdom now rules with Christ over the earthly belongings, failing to explain how Satan and Christ can rule the earth at the same time. The JWs have claimed that Jesus returned invisibly to the earth in 1914 and is guiding the Governing Body of anointed men who feed the sheep food at the proper time. To this day, the JWs refuse to give up that 1914 date based on a jumble of confusing calculations using random Bible verses and refuse to face facts that Jerusalem was destroyed in 586/587 B.C.E. and not in 607 B.C.E. However, the arrival at that 1914 date actually has simpler roots as follows:

The JW organization has turned a corner. It is no longer a kind and gentle organization where they love to engage in long discussions over doctrine and defending their version of the truth about the Bible. Those days are long gone and it bears emphasis here to please look into the religion you are devoting your life to. For decades the JWs have spouted their rhetoric at their circuit and regional conventions urging their membership to give up their jobs, to get a minimum wage part-time job so they can recruit people to join the JWs so they can have a life of servitude with nothing to gain from it but making this faction of the Freemasons very wealthy for generations to come. Not your generation, your family will suffer from your life of being a sheep without a shepherd. A true shepherd wants the flock to grow and prosper in every way, not lead a life of forced servitude or risk being thrown out and shunned and discarded like garbage. The blind sheep will soon grow old in this world like we all will do, and they will have nothing to show for it but a lifetime serving a billion dollar corporation with an agenda to move up in the ranks of global wealth and manipulating the sheep, the rank and file, who have no clue what masters they are really serving.
