What They Fear

I find organized religion has its good and bad points. The good in religion will unite people of all races, genders and economic status and build a strong family unit no matter how you define that personally. All others fall into the category of being controlling, demanding you support them financially even to your own financial ruin, and think that money is evil and the love of money is evil, which I disagree with. You can have a healthy love of anything in this world, including money. Unhealthy love falls into the categories of obsession, control, manipulation, fear, and anxiety.

Some people who have left the Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) organization feel they have to turn their backs on spirituality and on the Bible itself. This is your choice but I think the majority somehow feel they are superior in their thinking post-JW Society, that they are lofty and brilliant in their rejection of God when they are only fools in the making.

I am a spiritual person that explores many varied belief systems since I am no longer under the control of the Watch Tower Society and no longer under the control of the ex-JW cult of fools who throw God in the trash can and follow some uneducated lazy person in a land where the laws are vague and they can bootleg copies of other people's published works, slapping their logo on it and then acting shocked when legal action is threatened unless they make amends. Well, maybe in their part of the world it is legal to bootleg copies of other people's work and sell it under various pseudonyms on the black market and they are so egotistical they brag about it. I understand a child may not realize stealing candy from the grocery store is wrong and they have to be taught although some kids never learn basic manners and ethics from their parents who went from throwing food at them to shut them up to ignoring their existence, telling them to go away and stop bothering mom and dad. However, I am not talking about the antics of a child but of an adult manipulator.

How do you stop being manipulating once you have left a controlling religion? Confidence in yourself that you can and will survive, that you have the time and incentive to live for yourself and stop looking to others for a hand-out. Take stock and see where you are right now and look inward for the answers. Who are you? What do you believe right now? Is someone pressuring you into another mold? Go back to the basics in your life. Do you have a place to live? Food on the table? Start from the beginning and the answers will come to you from inside and not from an outside vulture waiting for you to show up at their doorstep begging for scraps.

What do the ex-JW cults fear? Losing control of a whole new group of people that are ripe for the picking and demonize religion and the Bible because they take zero responsibility for their actions of grifting people out of their hard earned money. People who do not believe in a God or Higher Power think they can make fools of us all and live in a bubble of self-obsession hoping you will not notice that your own life is going nowhere. There are consequences to this life and dumping God is not the answer to any struggles you may be going through.

Some spiritual-based belief systems suggest that this earth is the ark, a globe designed to preserve life throughout eternity with realms of understanding we pass through as we grow old and die in our physical bodies. Don't fear the spiritual world once you dump organized religion and stop it from controlling your every move.

What do cults and many religions fear? Losing control of a whole group of people that they can manipulate and can profit from their fear of death. No one controls your life now or any future lives or your own death. You have the controls and do not let any religious organization tell you differently.

I also have a bulletin, money is not evil, believing in one God or a multiple of Gods is not evil. No one owns the Bible or any ancient collection of writings. God is free to all to access and so are many of the writings from ages gone by, maybe only paying for a book or access to library collections. But do not feel you have to pay for your salvation either giving your money to a religious organization to ensure your future in heaven or a paradise earth, or that you have to pay to free yourself of those religious beliefs.

Religion was designed as a control mechanism when people and the economy gets out of control and spirals downward. Marriage was invented to give women certain property rights and to build a family unit, for the family members to pay taxes to the government and to have certain tax benefits. You can still have a strong family unit sans a marriage certificate, we know that, it's only if a person wants certain tax benefits will they marry or to ensure certain rights for their children. Many laws are changing in what constitutes a marriage which is in response to the demands of the people. But it comes down to controlling people and being aware of how you are being manipulated.

The JW organization goes so far as to tell people to disobey their governments and only obey them, even if it means your death. This is obviously dangerous and the JW organization has no right to tell you what is right or wrong for your family, and no one should disobey their governmental authorities, that is your decision alone to make based on a variety of conditions.

Identifying what you fear now can help you move forward with a plan for yourself and your loved ones. Stop throwing your money [or pearls] before SWINE. Some persons in the ex-JW world as well as the religions of this world can be categorized as swine. A way to decipher some of the obstacles you may be going through right now as you muster up the courage to walk out of those JW Kingdom Halls, I invite you to access the following web page and take advantage of the PDF documents, yes, free of charge:

Fear is probably the first hurdle you must overcome when exiting the JW cult of mind control. You need to ferret out where that fear came from and who implanted it inside your heart, mind and soul. Stop looking for help to leave a cult from another cult, even from a marketing cult. Start storing up treasures here on earth too, not just in heaven, where there is no need for any such treasures, God doesn't need your money. Some scriptures I think, should be taken with a grain of salt. Nothing is beyond your scope now as you take action to leave a cult of beliefs that do not serve you, are not in your best interest, and do nothing to promote your own self-esteem and self-worth. Start here and now and take an assessment of your life. What about your possessions, what can you literally throw out? De-clutter your house, de-clutter that car, that garage, and you will find that you can start thinking about more important matters. Then turn to your inner world, what are your personal beliefs? What spiritual belief patterns no longer serve you but keep you in fear?

Now is a good time to start planning for a real future for yourself and your loved ones. Don't fear money, don't fear the love of money, start viewing it as a tool for you to use for your benefit and to benefit your own family, not someone else's family. Do you feel guilty about this? Having money? Only thinking about yourself? This is because you were never taught that money is for you first, then you look around and see if you can help someone else, not by giving them your money, but helping them to earn their own way in this life.

Gee, I'm not volunteering at a soup kitchen today. That's fine, many social programs are in place to hire people to do that, and in most countries, you are already paying for all the social programs via your tax dollars to help the homeless and disabled, at least the earners who actually pay taxes, not grifters from a virtual reality.

Fear, guilt and then manipulation go together; drop them now. You can turn to books about motivation and self-affirmation videos to help you along your journey out of the Watch Tower Society and out of becoming obsessed with their every move via ex-JW YouTube videos featuring do-nothing people who don't have jobs. Oh gee, Watch Tower is still begging for money, geez, so are the ex-JWs; no difference; they feed at the same garbage trough.

Watchtower Spy?

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sex Abuse (IICSA) has released a public document about investigations into abuse and were reviewing applications and renewals of applications for persons who wanted to be involved in the investigation into the Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) as core participants, not just as observers or providing anecdotal material. The IICSA is independent of government and focuses primarily on England and Wales for their investigations.

One such application to be a core participant in the proceedings was for the YouTuber, James Lloyd Evans or Lloyd Evans, a.k.a., John Cedars, who would pull the plug immediately on his channel if YouTube stopped monetizing videos. Oh wait, he does badger his viewers constantly for money when the man does not work for a living, and never has, at least nothing is detailed in his almost 600 page manifesto he published using other people's money, including his wife's and JW in-laws' money. He is a house-husband that lives in his JW in-laws' basement and comes up for air when they leave the house. He has detailed their shunning him inside his home? Uh no, inside THEIR home.

Evans also receives alleged funding from the Bible Students and Scientologists, who he had alleged ties with from the start of his rise to ex-JW fame and not much fortune. It's been alleged he joined the Scientologists and networked with the likes of Mike Rinder. Both Rinder and Evans were ousted from their respective organizations. The Scientologists have a core study and marketing model of using surveys to expand their business opportunities which was how Evans first marketed his blog calling it JW Survey.

To put this into context, reference this recent YouTube video talking about the IICSA and wanting to move forward with investigating the JWs' policies.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0dv-_-t--c

A link to the IICSA document is referenced in the YouTube video above, and is copied here:

Excerpts:

Page 47

"You know from his application that Mr Evans is a former member and a former elder of the Jehovah's Witnesses. That in itself is valuable experience which many others may not have, but he is also a great deal more than that. He is somebody, I think it's right to say, who is the only full-time ex-Jehovah's Witness advocate in the world. His day job solely involves keeping abreast of the latest developments within the Jehovah's Witnesses across the board, across the whole spectrum of the religion, but also including, specifically, its policies on child sex abuse and how these are impacting on the lives of victims and survivors. We set out in the application his extensive writings and his extensive documentary films on exactly those issues, and the simple fact is that nobody is spending as much time as he is on analysing what's going on in the Jehovah's Witnesses now and nobody has written  and researched it as extensively as he has."

Page 48

"...Mr Evans is, so his knowledge and his huge expertise is crucial if this inquiry is to be a meaningful inquiry...So, chair, that's the basis of our application. We say that it's simply wrong to say that Mr Evans doesn't have a significant interest. The work that he does, the research that he has done, the publications that he's written, the documentaries that he's made, all  demonstrate not only that he has a significant interest and has played a significant role, but he has probably done so to a far greater extent than almost any other ex-Jehovah's Witness activist worldwide and, on that basis, it's only right that he should have core participant status."

-End of Excerpts-

Day job is right. Evans cannot hold down a real job and is supported by his alleged ex-JW wife and alleged current JW in-laws. His knowledge and "huge expertise" of the inner working of the Watch Tower is because he was subject to disciplinary action for allegedly abusing his position as an Elder in the congregation, allegedly sexting girls and women both inside his congregation and in other congregations. Evans was forcibly ousted from the JW organization. He has a problem with the JWs' rigid rules on sexting and viewing pornography, and with being allowed to freely sexually pleasure himself as he talks about in his book, his blog, and in his various YouTube videos.

As documented on his YouTube channel [unless it has since been deleted] Evans refused to audio tape his judicial committee meeting and had to take an over-the-counter sedative to have the courage to show up, because why? We can only suppose it was because he was truly a predator that not only needed to be stripped of being an Elder in a leadership position, but his actions may have been criminal depending on the country. This is conjecture since Evans refused to provide any proof of any judicial committee proceedings. Some insiders are alleging the whole Elder Body meeting with Evans never took place. He sat in his car recording himself for his YouTube channel pretending to be waiting to go inside to speak with the Elders and delivering disassociation letters for himself and his wife. Right, some are alleging the whole thing was faked for his blog, YouTube channel and later for his giant book when in reality, Evans refused to show up for any judicial committee hearing(s) either in England or Croatia where he now lives.

Since Lloyd Evans has no interest in the IICSA inquiries, meaning, he is not personally involved as he never claimed he was a victim of abuse and has no personal knowledge of anyone suffering abuse, he should not be allowed to participate in the proceedings as anyone having any special knowledge or expertise that millions of ex-JWs don't also possess.

All Evans has are unsubstantiated claims from alleged victims of abuse who he interviews on his monetized YouTube channel to gain views, clicks, likes, and subscribers. His IICSA application should be denied as a core participant, which could be a blow to the Watch Tower leadership wanting intel on proprietary information. Yes, it could be very important for Evans to have knowledge of the inner workings of the inquiries, to know exactly the behind-the-scenes conversations, evidence, and facts so he can share it with his Watchtower contacts. He already demonstrated in one of his public YouTube videos that he has Governing Body Member Anthony "Tony" Morris' personal phone number. I am only guessing that Tony would want a heads up on what's happening with the IICSA.

It has already been established that Evans is supported by the Bible Students via his patreon account, and as blogged about, his buddy the Bible Student got Evans free rein inside the Watch Tower headquarters in New York, and that guy was the one who called the police on the peaceful ex-JW demonstration outside of that headquarters a few years ago and bragged about it on his own YouTube channel where he said to the police that potentially thousands of angry ex-JWs were violent and showing up to storm the tower and he needed to warn those poor JWs! Yes, he had to take down that video because of the real ex-JW community calling him out as a fake and a Watchtower apologist. A lot of these Bible Students still get a kick-back from the proceeds of the Watch Tower corporations, so yeah, there are two camps of Bible Students too.

The Scientologists have a vested interest in the Watchtower since they following the Watchtower's lead on getting tax-free charity status for a "religion" that does not follow the Christ nor the Scriptures, but follows the policies, rules and edicts from a leadership of men in a corporate hierarchy.

Reference a prior blog entry for more information about the incident at the JW headquarters:
https://exjwquietactivism.blogspot.com/2019/06/who-are-you-supporting.html

Watch out who you are supporting on YouTube. Do you really want to see the end of the JW corporation? Or are you secretly hoping to make it into your own personal cash cow? Turn away from the Watch Tower now. Walk out of those prison camps called Kingdom Halls. The Watch Tower wants you interested in their every move, that's how they know the numbers that are interested in them and watch what's trending on YouTube and they are fooling you into thinking they don't have their future all planned out and it is proceeding on course.

This world is rapidly changing. Start focusing on yourself and your family and plot your own course away from the Watchtower and away from alleged Watchtower spies who are spying on you too.

JW Worldwide Liquor Run

Regular viewers of various ex-Jehovah's Witness (JW) YouTube videos will most likely have seen the video taken by an anon of Governing Body Member Anthony "Tony" Morris purchasing about $900 dollars worth of liquor.

Tony Morris is the one I guess assigned to make the liquor run for the rest of the Governing Body members who are headquartered at Warwick, New York, to lead the way in their so-called worldwide preaching work but I guess they need some liquid courage before they can undertake such a global feat. What a joke.

I thought the Kim/Mikey commentary was the best video on this Tony Morris video showing him purchasing multiples bottles of liquor, on a Sunday no less, and they spliced in excerpts of Tony giving a public talk. In my opinion on several occasions Tony appears allegedly drunk while giving public talks. He slurs his speech and then rants against the ex-JWs in an alleged drunken barrage of fire and brimstone hurled at us ex-JWs and can't wait until we burn like hot dogs at the time of the end at Armageddon when their God Jehovah destroys all non-JWs, but especially us so-called apostates, a word the JWs love to use against us who dare leave their organization. They are just a man-made religion with ever changing policies concocted by a group of narcissistic men bent on world power. The Governing Body's egos are through the roof at this point and a lot of the membership have that same ego along with a thin veil over their eyes since they refuse to face facts. The JW religion is on its way out. People are waking up to it being a faux Christian religion.

"Don't be bogged down by these apostates!" Right, Tony, since you have no defense against us. The Bible does not teach what the JWs teach. You are the apostate, buddy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq4K47OEY2o

I hope the JWs realize where their donations are going. Apparently, they are going straight to a liquor store. We know that donations and careful investments over the past 100 years have kept afloat this religious movement and the Governing Body allegedly receive no salaries. Normally they are given a certain amount for personal expenses and I guess Tony heads straight for the liquor store. Okay, fine, that is what he wants to do with his money but it looks like the guy has a serious problem or maybe he is the one doing the liquor run this month for the rest of the group as they prepare to memorialize the death of Jesus Christ on April 19. That must be some memorial.

Everyone that cares is most likely aware that the JWs memorialize the death of Christ only once per year right before the worldly Easter holiday. They actually deny the Christ and simply pass around the emblems of the bread and wine depicting Jesus' body and blood and no one partakes of the emblems since they are not of the anointed remnant class still here on earth. It is not clear how you are selected to be of the anointed class, you "just know", but even those that know this may be rejected depending on their age, social status, and how much they've got in the bank. Some people are allowed to say they are anointed because they may be the wacky old person in the Kingdom Hall and it does no real harm to let them believe they are of the anointed class while they guzzle that wine at the Kingdom Hall and then wobble home to continue the wino party on their own.

My aunt was one of these anointed remnant and her father [my maternal grandfather] was a Freemason. Some suggest that true anointed JWs must be of a certain bloodline and engage in certain Masonic rituals. My mother and her sisters were one of Job's Daughters, sort of like the Freemasons for young girls since the Masons are all men, the leadership with their rituals. I am sure if you are interested in going deeper, you can do your own Internet search. You know, the Internet, that Tony Morris warns you against since everything you want to research is at your fingertips. Of course not everything is true, but the reader must use discernment. The JWs hate the Internet because it reveals they are Masonic-like in their teachings and practice blood sacrifice rituals when a person is dying and needs a potentially life-saving medical blood transfusion and they are not allowed to have one or they will be forever doomed to nothingness. Obviously, the Bible does not teach this; the JWs do.

The JW history is a murky one, and some believe it has its roots in the wealthiest families on earth since they are always looking to control people. One way they do that is via religion and we know religion is a way to make a lot of money. If you can control masses of people, you can control their very lives and their bank accounts.

Don't be fooled by the world's religions. They are a way to control people while separating you from family and from your inheritance. I am a spiritual person and nothing stops me from researching any Bible topic on the Internet. God is free to anyone who wants to learn about him or learn the Bible or learn about a host of other spiritual beings and pursue all types of spiritual beliefs.

Tony Morris allegedly has a drinking problem. I mean, what a waste of money. Oh right, it's not his money. It's yours. The ones who have donated to the JW worldwide work like me and you if you were ever a JW, you donated, believe me, or you would have been shunned and driven out of the Kingdom Hall.

I hope videos like the Tony Morris video continue to show up on the Internet and hopefully it will wake someone up that the JWs are a man-made religion having nothing to do with any God, except maybe the God of materialism and earthly pursuits. Don't waste your time following some alleged drunk to a liquor store who thinks he can control your every move, control whether you live or die. You are better than that. You can see that these JW Governing Body members are just plain old men with nothing to do but think about how to spend your money that you donated.

Time to wake up from the Watchtower that you have been sitting in and waiting for Armageddon to come. The only Armageddon will be the one the JW leadership will witness which is the end of their own life cycle. Once the money dries up, we hope Tony dries out.

Philadelphia Freedom

The Philadelphia Inquirer is interested in freedom, freedom for people to talk about the growing concern of the Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) archaic culture of silencing people who are abused by the people inside their respective Kingdom Halls, yes, Halls not churches since this is not a Christian religion. They place Jesus on a phallic symbol stuck in the ground instead of a cross which repels them and they push him off to one side as their leadership take front and center in this organization. Have you seen the vampire movies? Dracula is repelled by the cross much like the JWs.

When I was a small child, my Catholic grandmother sent me a gold cross necklace which I cherished, but not for long. Once I finally removed it from around my neck and placed it carefully on my nightstand, by morning it was gone. My devout JW mother and father were perplexed. Hmm, where did it go? I searched for it for many days and nights until my mother finally told me she took it because "we" don't want the sign of the cross in our house, it was demonic. I never brought it up again. We were JWs and that was the rule and the JWs are far from being Christian or Christlike.

The leadership of the JWs are a star chamber of men called the Governing Body who live in the New York area after selling off their massive Brooklyn buildings for over one billion dollars, yes, you read right. It is public record they are now billionaires and, not so public is that they are finally in the billionaire boys club and have reached that coveted 33 degree level of the top Masonic elite group of men of the nation. Yes, I keep saying men since the top elite of this world are men with women as basically property and used to further their lineage. To work your way through the Masonic secret society and reach the top levels, it takes money. We are not talking about the local lodges where moms and dads meet to discuss some charity drive, we are talking about the top leadership, same with the Watch Tower corporation. We are not talking about the sheep inside those Kingdom Halls who just do the bidding of the Governing Body by doing the slow death walk into those Halls every single week, trolling around neighborhoods pushing their literature onto householders or publicizing the official JW website, they are the worker drones and seem to be truly blinded and foggy about the truth about their organization.

But finally, the JWs are getting negative press exposing their inner workings. I have blogged about this a few times before but it is worth repeating this and exposing how secretive the JW organization is and continues to be.

Please reference the full article from "The Inquirer" from Philadephia:

The article talks about a four year old girl who was molested inside a Kingdom Hall by a teenage boy while people were meeting for field service, which means, they were pairing off and talking about what territories in the neighborhood they would "work" by knocking on doors and trying to recruit people into their religion. The incident happened about 10 years ago but the article relates other stories about abuses inside the JW organization and nothing is done by the congregational Elders. The article goes on to relate a police detective's experience in dealing with the Elders of a congregation regarding abuse allegations, and how they refused to cooperate. Typical of this religion, they do not cooperate with anyone, they shut down, close ranks and protect the holy Governing Body who to this day, go unchallenged as to their authority over the membership of sheep worldwide. It is quite disturbing that this religious group that only worships the God of this system of things can still thrive, but hey, they are serving the New World Order of men who use God when it suits them while their real God is whomever you want to call him/it, the Devil, Lucifer, Fallen Wicked Angels, but that is what the JWs are, they thrive on this earthly system of things and are hardly spiritual.

Once you start letting those blinders fall off your eyes, you can see many situations as they really are. Don't let a faux Christian religion mislead you anymore. Start reading about spirituality, discover and explore other organizations that are non-denominational. You can read the Bible on your own, there are many translations that use modern wording if you don't like the old style of the King James Bible.

Is it important to get out of the JWs? So many are unaffected by any articles or news reports exposing the JWs for being a secret society that harbors alleged abusers, I say alleged since we don't know. The authorities are never called when a victim or the family of a victim notifies JW Elders of abuse. They handle it internally which means they do nothing and the victim either keeps quiet or moves out of the area away from their abuser. Nothing is done, it is a secret society. Have I said that enough? I know. I was born and raised in it and there are so many things about the JWs that mimic Freemasons. My grandfather was a Freemason, his daughters [one being my mother] were Job's Daughters [sort of a girl's version of the Freemasons]. As I have related on this blog and provide more detail in my book, my mother and her sisters when they were in their 20's, transitioned to becoming JWs. The JWs prey on the innocent and stupid, duping people into thinking their God Jehovah is bringing about an end to this system of things when their God is only a God of War and Destruction.

It is never too late to start your own research. So much now is online and readily available to you. You don't need to travel to the Watch Tower Headquarters in Warwick, New York, and see a bunch of old black and white photos of the founders of this religious group since those photos are already on the Internet. Big deal, right? Some ex-JWs even travel to Warwick to see a bunch of old Bibles and rusty typewriters or a bunch of old literature behind glass, which is just bizarre, and gush over it as if it means anything. It doesn't. Gee, why don't they show you the basement of occult material and their Masonic books of ritualistic practices? You know, the secret cabal of the truly anointed by Jehovah who partake of the bread and wine depicting Jesus' body and blood and then throwing the glasses in the fireplace and chanting to their God Molech. Hmmm, a mystery, right?

Jehovah's Witnesses sacrifice their children to Molech masquerading
as their God Jehovah. The children are sacrificed by their parents
on operating tables because they purposefully refuse potentially
life-saving blood transfusions.

You also don't need to purchase any voluminous book on the history of the JWs, it is all available for free on the Internet and you can read it at your leisure and print out anything you wish and stick it in a folder for future reference. You do not need the entire huge history of JWs sitting on a bookshelf. We are beyond those days, thank God.

I envy you if you are just starting to wake up and have the courage to start your own research. I still remember when I was waking up and started going on the Internet, it was around 1999 and it was an exciting time for me. Your own discovery and research will be exciting for you too. And yes, you can do it on your own. You are strong, you really do not need anyone to lead you out of the organization. If you are an adult, you can open that Kingdom Hall door to the outside world and never look back.

Is there a God?

This is the age old question of the universe. Is there a God? Why did he/she/it create our universe? Ask 10,000 people these questions and you will get 10,000 different answers. Yet this time of year, we think about God and humanity and that since there is so much suffering on the planet, many choose to not believe in God and everything was put here by chance via a Big Bang Theory or evolution or whatever belief system makes you feel comfortable.

No, I am not an atheist, agnostic, creationist or any kind of ist or ic, but believe something did put us here on this planet for whatever reason, and they are long gone conquering other worlds. I am pursuing a spiritual existence, not a religious one, and have a concept of heaven or wherever we ascend after death. Since no one knows any absolute truths about the afterlife, choose what makes you happy. But this planet of ours is too perfect in how it works for some Higher Being to not have set it all in motion. One slight hairline distance off course would send this planet into a freezing nightmare or a fiery furnace and snuff out all life in an instant.

A humble person cannot think all the beauty around us and perfect rotation of this planet, the way the ecosystem works, the perfect system of rain, sun, wind, oxygen, how our bodies function, on and on, was all by chance and it wreaks of a fearful person who wants no responsibility for their life now on this planet and no responsibility towards anyone else. They may feel that it's all for nothing, all chance, so let's eat, drink and be merry while trashing the planet or its inhabitants since it all might go away tomorrow and nothing matters anyway.

Surprisingly, Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) believe this too but in the opposite context. They feel that because they believe in a God they call Jehovah, that they too have no responsibility towards this planet and its inhabitants that it's all up to Jehovah to fix any problems on this planet, whether it's maintaining the environment or providing a better future for its people and animals. They are pacifists that go door-to-door in a preaching work to distribute their own literature and to gain recruits, or to warn people that Jehovah will soon destroy them in a global Great Tribulation leading to Armageddon where every non-JW and their Bible studies or their kids [depending on what the JWs believe as the responsibility of toddlers, whether they will survive Armageddon on mom and dad's coattails is up in the air]. Yet these pacifists do not blink an eye with killing themselves or a loved one that needs a life-saving medical blood transfusion since their God Jehovah is a blood-thirsty being that demands your life, and Jesus' blood sacrifice means nothing, but us humans have to die for Jehovah too. It's a hate-filled belief system that I left and want nothing to do with again. I know, you say religions incite wars and violence too, but I choose to not join other churches either.

However, since the JWs teach an anti-Christian belief system, when people leave the organization, many fall into non-belief, that there is no God, the Bible can't be trusted, it's all man-made stories since that is how you were programmed once you leave the JWs, to deny Christianity as a whole. Mainstream Christianity basically is all the same, the teaching that Jesus died on a cross not a wooden stake, that maybe there is a triune God where Jesus said at John 14: 8-10 that if you have seen him you have seen the Father. So JWs are purposefully anti-Christian to draw you away from the Scriptures or other ancient texts. So when you leave the JWs, you are already programmed to not believe in anything.

Once you decide to leave the JWs, you find you have no real Bible knowledge since the JWs draw you away from Christianity. If you can recognize this early on in your recovery, you may find a way to still have a belief in God and Jesus and find hope that this world is not doomed to destruction and that only JWs will be saved, or maybe there is a Higher Power that is in control and we are all spirit beings having a human experience.

I found a YouTube video that helped me with this subject. It is from the British comedian Russell Brand. He provides commentary on every subject imaginable and also provides help from addictions of any kind, not just certain substance abuses, but it can be related to any type of addiction. But he clearly provides examples of why he believes in God, maybe not strictly the God of mainstream Christianity, but I will summarize his statements here.

Russell mentions Stephen Fry, the British comedian, commentator, writer, and activist, and he is a famous non-believer in God and points out all the atrocities of this world and why any loving God would allow all the suffering so it proves there is no God at all.

Granted, we don't know why but it seems that we are all under a microscope and God is watching what we do and say and how we act towards one another since he is making all things new, a new heavens and earth where we shall all reside after this life is done [my thoughts, not from Stephen Fry or Russell Brand].

Russell talks about Joseph Campbell, a cultural mythologist, who stated that all religions are true in that they are metaphorically true. Religion is an attempt to explain the unknowable. The same way science is an attempt to explain the unknowable. Science can explain the mechanics of the universe, the mechanics of biology and anatomy, but can it ever explain the why? Why are we here? Why is all this happening? What is the reason why we are here. What is the nature of the universe?

I thought those points made sense. Science cannot explain the "why" of anything, just explains how things work yet science cannot create life. Yes, they can create certain strains of bacteria or plant life and interbreed animals to develop knew breeds of dogs or cats, but not from the dust of the ground can they create a human or animal yet believe everything is just chance with no meaning, so why bother. Why have any motivation to do anything? Which is why you see groups of people doing nothing but existing.

In a book called Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding the True Nature of the Universe, by Robert Lanza, MD, it addresses that creation has flaws in its doctrine and in received physics. In the last few decades there has been discussion of a basic paradox in the construction of the universe as we know it. If the Big Bang Theory had been one part in a million more powerful, it would have rushed out too fast for the galaxies and life to have developed. If the strong nuclear force were decreased by 2 percent, atomic nuclei wouldn't hold together and plain vanilla hydrogen would be the only kind of atom in the universe. If the gravitational force were decreased by just a hair, stars including the sun would not ignite. These are three of more than 200 physical parameters within the solar system and universe so exact that its strange credulity to propose that they are random even if that is exactly what standard contemporary physics boldly suggests.

Terence McKenna, an American ethnobotanist, said that the perspective of contemporary science is that give us one free miracle and we'll explain the rest. That free miracle being the universe sprang into being with these exact rules that are required for life and consciousness to exist. Russell Brand [in his commentary] believes that what Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Jainism, etc., are trying to do is to make sense of our position, our perspective as wake, conscious sentient beings within the infinite.

Russell says he believes in God and that his understanding of God is that his consciousness emanates from a perspective that passes through endless filters, the subjective filers of the senses and his own biography choosing what he likes and doesn't like, what he wants and doesn't want, what is good or bad. But behind of all that, there is an awakeness and awareness that sees it all, and its in Stephen Fry, in all of us, an interconnectivity. None of us can know if there is a God, but we do know there is an us. None of us can know if there is a wrong or right but we do know there is an us.

Stephen Fry believes we should abandon God to be free yet Russell believes the opposite, that we should embrace God to be free. Not embrace dogma or doctrine but look at what is in religion even conventional religion has beautiful thoughts. Stephen Fry brought up the story when Jesus told the scribes and pharisees that wanted to punish an adulterer by stoning her, which was the law of Moses at the time, that Jesus said that he who is without sin to cast the first stone. So there would be no judicial system if we followed God.

Russell brings up the opposite point of that Biblical story. Jesus was saying that the pharisees thought of themselves as perfect and without sin, so why were they condemning a woman who had sinned. So how could you apply that judicially with contemporary times. Well, you could say that when you are condemning murderers to acknowledge that within us all is the capacity for evil. I think this fact makes us take a step back and look at the root of evil, how it develops in some people and not others and we can influence people for the good of society.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, a Russian novelist, believed that the line between good or evil runs not between nations, religions, continents or creeds but through every human heart. So when you are judging the worst criminals possible, to acknowledge that the thing within them that has manifested this negativity is also within us. Our first duty is to negotiate the negativity within ourselves and if we can successfully negotiate that, then we can create a better society and know how to deal with the negative elements of society.

I believe the sentiments of Russell in that we are temporary manifestations of something greater, something timeless and spaceless and absolute. Every dogma including science has tried to explain this and has failed. We can contribute to the good of others and help alleviate suffering.

I think as we head into this holiday season, we should be mindful of our thoughts and actions and realize we can influence this world for the better, and not give up on the hope of a Creator of all this. Don't cop out as they say, and think your life doesn't matter, when it matters a great deal. Why do atheists procreate? What's the point? Why is it so important to leave a legacy on an earth that can be gone in a second based on mere chance, maybe on another Big Bang explosion. Because someone has a master plan for all of this, there is God within us and something greater than us does exist, not a Big Bang theory of random acts of nothing that mean nothing. Nothing is random my dear friend. You matter and we all matter on this planet and our actions now will impact future generations.
