Charles Russell vs Watchtower

I guess it was the 1990s when the Internet was just getting a foothold in global communications and when we had our own personal computers at our desks at work with free rein to search about anything we wanted on the Internet. Very few had personal computers in their homes at the time, at least in my circle of friends as it was not really considered a necessity and the video games were very basic and not really interesting. So, at work was where I could start searching for anything that interested me aside from actually researching projects for work.

Let's back up a bit to what really started to wake me up to the Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) religion that I was born and raised in and never thought I would leave. It was the "Jehovah's Witnesses Proclaimers of God's Kingdom" book published in 1993 by the Watch Tower and Bible Tract Society. Oh yes, the Internet was starting to stir up trouble for many religious organizations, not only the JWs. I clicked on sites about Scientology since that religion was intriguing because of the Hollywood stars who talked about being members. Oh wait, that was a cult and many secret documents were uploaded to the world wide web that I couldn't get enough of. Then I read about the Mormons, more secret documents and people coming forward with their testimonies of secret ceremonies. Oh wait, the JWs were included on those websites. What? They are really harmless people with not much drama. Well, a lot was being revealed as in their entire basis for their beliefs was on the study of pyramids, Egyptology, they used Masonic symbols and tenets, there were links with Aleister Crowley and his Golden Dawn, and on and on.

The leaders of the Watch Tower could no longer ignore their dark roots and a bleach job was needed. Enter the "Proclaimers Book". It was a way to whitewash their history yet come clean about it and hopefully silence anyone with a website spouting all kinds of things against the Watchtower. The book revealed that Charles Taze Russell, who founded the Bible Students that became the incorporated JWs after his death, based his end of the world predictions on the measurements of the pyramids. Yeah, this book woke me up. However, the book is difficult to follow in that it is not in chronological order and ends up being an advertisement for the JWs' worldwide business operations.

But I wondered why I was never taught about the roots of my religion and I never questioned it since I thought the teachings really didn't change that much. I knew about how they used to celebrate the holidays and birthdays but so what, that was not a huge deal to me. But the Masonic connections, end of times doomsday beliefs that had many dates with 1914 being the last one that was changed to being the start of the end times, then later leading up to 1975 which the JWs now blame the membership for spreading such lies about Armageddon happening that year.

The same tactics and explanations are used
to this day regarding 1975 being the date of
Armageddon. They blamed the membership when
evidence exists across the Internet that the leadership
came up with that date and we bought it.

Pretty interesting that a self-proclaimed leader of the ex-JW community claims to know everything about Charles Russell but it's only because the original Bible Students provide funding for his YouTube channel and blog site with Watchtower PR agents supporting it as well as the only official ex-JW site since it's a fake and a misdirection to keep you busy on useless information making you feel great about staying inside those Kingdom Halls and sitting there like a fool thinking you are having one up on them. Walk out, that is what they don't want you to do. They want you sitting there thinking, oh I am so much smarter than these people, I can be awake yet attend every meeting! Hey, that's what they want you to do - walk away now; don't try to beat a cult at their own game. You will lose.

The JWs don't like that image portrayed of themselves as a bunch of Masons in a lodge that were basically ignored people who stole beliefs from the Adventists and slapped their own name on a Masonic Lodge and always met in lodges or halls down to this day. Some useless YouTuber living off his in-laws in a basement is Watchtower approved because they want to squelch drama while the Bible Students want revenge - so to speak - against the company that stills owns them. Yes, there are factions in the ex-JW community as well as with the Bible Students who are still sitting inside those Kingdom Halls and are now called JWs. You may recognize them in your area. They are the ones with the nicely groomed beards that may give public talks only in their own congregation and may be allowed to preach from door-to-door but that's it. They don't have positions of authority in the Kingdom Halls but are tolerated. Their bloodlines date back to the beginning.

http://www.info-sectes.org/tj/russel.htm
Oh it matters if the leaders of your religious society are Masons or not, most are, most religions are based on Masonic tenets. Religion is a way to control society since nonbelievers are already under the control of governments to bring an end to Christianity. Why is a pyramid on your dollar bill? Oh yeah, it's a mystery. You have to realize that if you are still a JW then you are in a doomsday religion that is making major money off of this world while the membership are banned from higher education, getting a career not just a job, starting families and building personal wealth, traveling for fun and not for Watch Tower, and the list goes on. You are serving the masters of this universe that get rich off of your fears of a doomsday. Any doomsday that may happen is eons away as nature continues and survives with or without humans. This earth is here to stay and no God is destroying anything. If this system we live in was not all created on purpose then God or Higher Beings would have stopped it eons ago to stop human suffering.

I think a good place to start on the Masonic roots of the Watchtower is with this interesting YouTube video. Pay attention to the beginning and make sure and access their channel and do a search of Freemasons or Masons on their site for their videos. It is a bit of a rabbit hole but one worth crawling inside of and digging deep into the roots of the Watchtower.

Another excellent video is linked below about how Masons duped unsuspecting Christians into a doomsday religion and scammed them out of their dough which is still happening down to this day. Wake up to Mr. Watchtower Apologist Company Man; he is being exposed in the video link below. Yes, Mr. Basement Dweller, Charles Russell refers to Jesus as a Grand Master.

Bad Seed

Some people are just bad seeds, bad from the day they were born and there isn't much anyone can do to change them. Those seedlings grow and grow into producing rotten fruit and need to be destroyed before they destroy the entire field of good crops, good people. Much like the Jehovah's Witness (JW) organization, they are a bad seed.

So odd being born and raised as a JW, we were always told that very soon God Jehovah would strike down Babylon the Great, the Empire of False Religion and all its hordes of followers. Their literature spanning a hundred years is filled with basically, bashing every religion not their own, bashing all types of religious belief systems and claim they are the one true religion that was chosen by God to rule the earth and spread the true gospel.

Pretty interesting that a recent Newsweek International cover story deals with the downfall of the JWs, meaning, the Russian government banning the religion and arresting anyone who has their literature or meets and practices their faith, many having to hide in fields or change locations and meet at different JW homes to worship and read the Watchtower corporation's assigned literature.

But who really is behind this latest major cover feature? Watchtower is panicking over losing millions of dollars in assets and property in Russia, and in my opinion, the JW leadership are enraged over the banning of their cult only due to money issues and not based on any high moral beliefs. They mandate the JWs in that country disobey the ban on their religion and face abuse, arrests, and imprisonment all to stop the bleeding of cash for the phony victims called the Watchtower corporate leaders.

Watchtower hopes this cover will strike fear
into the hearts of its fading membership.

The link to the Newsweek article is here:

The article about the JWs is featured in both domestic and international issues, just with different covers. The American version of the magazine featured a cover of Bernie Sanders but contained the same article about the JWs.

I did blog about the Russian ban on JWs and was in support of the ban with the government basically kicking out that ungodly religion from their country much like how the Scientologists are not an accepted religion in many countries.

Commentary on the Newsweek article can be found here:

I liked the way it was pointed out in that YouTube video about how some in the ex-JW community go on and on about the injustices of the Watchtower corporation, basically beating that same drum over and over again slamming the JW belief system and about how they protect child molesters, but when Russia placed a ban on the JWs, the same YouTubers were crying claiming it was unjust.

Yes, this happened and continues to happen in the ex-JW YouTube community where these phonies are only out for big subscriber circles to increase their cash flow for basically doing nothing but sitting home 24/7 waiting for their family to bring home the bacon while they hog a computer screen claiming on one hand how awful the JW policies are for protecting pedophiles while on the other hand claiming that any ex-JW supporting the JWs being banned in Russia are "mentally diseased" as one YouTuber and blogger stated, skewing the facts. They are phonies who are grifting off of those who have left the JW organization.

So what happened with God destroying Babylon the Great first? It seems God is targeting the JW religion first and a quick Google search about Watchtower and hiding abuse among the membership, doing nothing to protect victims, is all over the Internet since it seems God has removed any protections from this religious movement while some YouTubers defend them when God has abandoned them. Watchtower is quick to tell people to get out of Babylon the Great when they are a part of it themselves and are angry they are being targeted first where it hurts them the most, in their assets.

https://jwfacts.com/watchtower/salvation-only-for-jehovahs-witnesses.php

Time to get out of false religion and look to Christ as your leader instead of a god of war named Jehovah. You don't have to abandon Christianity or stop being a spiritual person. I am a spiritual person who believes in a Grand Creator in spite of the mental and emotional damage inflicted on me from my JW parents and enforced weekly at the Kingdom Hall by the endless talks and forced to read fear-based literature, having constant fear and guilt instilled in me year after year. However, I have emerged a stronger person and continue to reach out to help others via this blog and my website [link in the sidebar of this blog], as well as recommending books and YouTube channels that have helped me.

I hope you can pick up the Newsweek magazine about the JWs and save a few copies for posterity. Oh yes, we will see the fall of this ungodly organization and supposedly, the JWs claim all other religions are harboring pedophiles and adulterers and anything else you can imagine except them when they seem to be the first target. The JWs have a victim mentality and may feel this Newsweek article is proof that Armageddon is imminent. But think of this, the Watchtower corporation is set to lose about 31.8 million dollars of property in Russia and perhaps that is the point of this article and publicity for Watchtower. To save their assets.

Did Watchtower PAY for this article to feature their so-called abuse by the Russian government? I would not doubt it, especially the timing since the summer regional conventions are taking place for the JWs and they need a hot terror topic to scare the masses and get people like me, the faders, to get back to that spiritual ark, those prison camps called Kingdom Halls.

Remember, those investors, stockholders, and owners of the Watchtower corporation are not necessarily JWs, in fact, probably none of them are. They date back to the beginning and the prior generations funded this religion since the early 1900's. THEY are interested in getting the word out via Newsweek [and other news sources] to gain sympathy from the United States and the UK to what? Stop them being targeted? NO, to stop their properties from being seized and to stop them from transferring property deeds to the rank and file to hide assets. No one knows more about money and wheeling and dealing and using Satan's world to their benefit than the JW leadership.

Yes, get out of her my people, if you do not want to share in her sins. Now is the time to simply walk out of those prison camp Kingdom Halls and never look back. You are strong enough. You do not need a homeless looking man broadcasting from his basement to "help" you leave the JWs. Many of these ex-JWs were kicked out of the organization for their own disgusting behavior having zero to do with them "waking up" one day and deciding the JWs are fakes and oh, all religion is fake. Nope, myself and thousands of other ex-JWs left on our own by using our critical thinking powers and finally had to face facts, the JWs are a damaging cult that hides and protects people who are sexual predators, whether those predators use an Internet connection, meetups, or prey on their own family members, those predators thrive within the safety of a JW congregation. The ones they evict are because the membership have had it. THEY stand up to the Elders and demand justice and some Elders comply, others do not and the victims have to move on and cope by themselves.

However, you are strong enough to leave the JWs on your own. And as I have blogged about before, no person can tell you to disobey your own government, especially a wealthy group of men sitting in the New York area living in a resort with tennis courts and wearing Rolex watches and driving Cadillac Escalades. I am guessing that the Governing Body are planning their escape and it isn't via a rapture to heaven, but a rapture to a Caribbean island. Passports all ready guys?

Cher thinks you're strong enough and
so do I. Just believe.

Two Sides of the Coin

There are various Internet and social media sites that have information about the Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) and the roots and origins of the organization. If you lean towards traditional Christianity, you may take the side that the JWs are a Christian group that veered off into their own world and developed their own belief system based on their own version of the Holy Scriptures. They believe they are direct descendants of the First Century Christians and the first congregation of followers of Jesus Christ but of course worship their God Jehovah as the ultimate ruler and Supreme One of this universe with Jesus as a secondary super being leading the congregation of JWs on earth right now, with its Governing Body [the JW top ruling class] believing they are spirit directed and that's where they get their information from and publish copious amounts of printed literature pushing forward their agenda to their followers.

However, on the flip side, if you have roots in more occultic practices, then you would have an affinity towards the founder of the JW movement, Charles Taze Russell and the Bible Students. They are more grounded in the belief of spiritism, channeling, predicting the future, and the ancient practice of Pyramidology where it involves studying the Great Pyramid at Giza in Egypt in relation to various religious speculations for our future.

The JW belief system is from both sides of one coin, occult practices and Christianity. Is there a meeting point with the two sides of the coin of JWs? Yes there is and is probably the reason why you were excited about joining the JWs in the first place if you were an adult, and why most kids born-in and raised as a JW either love their unique belief system or veer off and "wake up" as the term is coined for those who finally defy their indoctrination and finally realized this world is not black and white, there is no one truth for every one person aside from natural laws. I think if I want to come up with my own theory about gravity, that it's a choice not a law, then I might find myself playing a harp in heaven or a frightened atheist that doesn't want to think about an afterlife or anything for that matter and lives for today which is fine, but geez, gravity and other natural laws are there and must be obeyed or guess what, you might find yourself dead and buried if you defy those laws. The atheist is under the assumption everything on this planet happened by chance and not by some great design. I might exist in that middle ground, that obviously some super beings put this earth in motion and started everything since we seem to be on a massive computer system that never fails and the planet is filled with myriads of life forms that continue to thrive and probably will forever.

Therefore, religion is a variable as is science. As stated before on this blog, the Bible is a way to explain the unexplainable while science is also a way to explain the unexplainable in our world. Our world is a mystery. If you face that one fact then you are on your way to deciding on one side of the coin to live by but guess what, you can flip to the other side of that coin at any time or rest on the edge, the sort of middle ground. That is the freedom we enjoy as humans on this earth no matter how you believe we got here in the first place. No one can deny this earth is on a precision timer, with everything so perfectly functioning that it seems like it's operating on a master computer system. One tiny glitch and we would either be frozen solid or melted from the heat and all life forms would die instantly.

Getting back to what I know as a born-in and once a fully indoctrinated JW, there are even two sides, two beliefs systems, within the JW organization that you may not be consciously aware of. Yes, two sides of one coin that are very closely related yet seem different.

My mother and her sisters became a part of the Christian Science religion, which is still practiced by some today especially in the Hollywood area of the entertainment industry. They believe that the body can basically heal itself and doctors are rarely needed. My aunt suffered from diabetes and hoped to become cured by the Christian Scientists which of course, never happened since God isn't healing anyone of chronic illnesses. She was becoming disillusioned with the Christian Science beliefs and was recruited into the JW society while in Hollywood when she was pursuing a career as an actress. Her health was failing and the JWs offered her a paradise on earth, and that many now living would never die, but be ushered into a grand paradise. She left Hollywood and married and settled down as a new JW recruit and proceeded to recruit her sisters, one being my mother.

My mother and her sisters were heavily into the occult yet the JWs attracted them. Yes, it was because of the occult and masonic roots of both the Christian Science religion and the JWs.  They were interested in numerology and tracking the "end times" of this system of things. My mother and two of her sisters would regularly meet and sit around a circular table and divine prophecies and decipher world events in relation to what was printed in the Watch Tower publications. It became a regular habit for me to exist between the occult world and the physical world. The merging of the occult and the JW's was a natural progression for me and I thought little of it, it was just a regular part of my life. I wished I had paid more attention when I was growing up to exactly what my mother and her sisters were talking about in their sessions.

Similar image that was depicted
on a porcelain plate hanging on
the wall of my bedroom
as a child.
One time when I woke up from a nap [I guess I was around 8 or 9 years old], a porcelain decorative plate was no longer on my wall, but resting on my dresser. My mother was there as I awoke and found she had been watching me and it unnerved me to find her there when I woke up. She stated that she thought I was tiring of that decorative plate on my wall since I had it since birth and I was outgrowing it. It depicted a 3D scene of the nursery rhyme by Mother Goose of the cow jumping over the moon and the cat playing the fiddle. She inferred I had moved the plate from the wall to my dresser, but how? Sleepwalking, telekinesis? I don't know, I didn't know those terms at the time and didn't ask what she meant.

When I got older, my mother told me that when I was a little kid, several times I would appear at midnight in the living room of our house with my arms outstretched and using my hands to try and "sign" something [no, we were not hearing impaired and I never learned sign language]. She said I was sleepwalking and it surprised me as obviously I had no memory of this. I again was just a bit frightened and said nothing but it disturbed me and made me afraid to go to sleep at night. I wondered if my mother had used me as some sort of medium when she and her sisters would meet and try to decipher the clues of when Armageddon would occur.

My mother played these games with me throughout my childhood to torment me, telling me true life ghost stories, about images of demons in my bedroom at night, anything to frighten me while raising me as a perfect, indoctrinated JW mind controlled robot, taught only how to repeat back the words found in the Watch Tower publications and quickly learning how to go in the door-to-door field ministry to lure others into the organization, telling them they may never die but live forever on a paradise on earth that is to happen anytime now.

Well, as I am writing this, I am much older and I hope wiser, and that paradise never happened and I am convinced, never will. We all need to choose a belief system that makes us happy and encourages us to thrive in this life now. Nothing is black and white, there is no one truth or the entire globe would follow it, much like the natural laws. We all follow those laws or it may do us harm if we ignore them.

However, never get boxed into one belief system. That is the beauty of this life, you get to choose what you want and you can change your beliefs anytime you want. It's okay. But do not be pressured by anyone in the ex-JW community who are in the guise of helping you leave the JWs since most have their own agenda to recruit you as their follower and recruit you into their belief system while they do nothing to improve their own lives, but sit home in front of a camera pretending to be experts on the JWs while waiting for the dinner bell to ring. They may have little interest in getting you to find your own path in life but want you stuck on their treadmill of just obsessing about the Watch Tower organization and not getting outside and living life. If you are curious about what literature the JWs have or what videos they are doing, go directly to their website [JW.org] and find out for yourself. You don't need any long-winded opinions of anyone using JW material as content for their videos, go look for yourself and start to develop your own analyses and opinions about the organization.

There are many good blogs and websites to start your research while still focusing on thriving outside of those Kingdom Halls that are stagnate and the people stuck in life. Some YouTubers are also stuck in life and unable to move away from their video cameras. The Watch Tower's secrets are being exposed now and a good place to start your own studies is JWFacts.com, or Watchtower.exposed where you can find literature and updated news stories about the organization, but more importantly, find your way out of the JWs and not land into another group of people looking for new members to join them in some perceived fight against the Watch Tower corporation without helping you to recover from your past trauma.

I invite you to notice on this blog site, suggestions on the sidebar and in the footer, of books and YouTube channels that provide help with transitioning away from your JW indoctrination and heal trauma that can manifest itself in many ways, emotional, mental and physical.

If you need more help and someone to talk with, seek out any non-JW friend or relative or talk to a non-JW licensed therapist that offers sessions that fit your schedule, not just spouting information they read from a book and repeat it on their YouTube channel, pretending to be an expert on the JWs or exiting a cult-like environment.

Take your time when thinking about exiting the JW organization. We do not have to be organized or join any ex-JW community. We can make our own choices now and pick and choose what information is helpful and what to skip.

Shortcuts

Everyone is on their own path and proceeds at their own pace when recovering from anything, whether it be some sort of addictive behavior that interrupts your ability to function on a daily basis or to break free from a religious belief system. It can take almost a lifetime. I was born in and raised as a Jehovah's Witness (JW) and wish I had a shortcut to my recovery. As described in my book [note the sidebar of this blog] it took me several years to realize I had been indoctrinated into a religious cult of sorts, I know, many people don't like using that word but it was a religious order that did have its own rites, rituals, and strict belief system.

When I was first waking up from my JW indoctrination and attempting to transition away the JW organization, I went to the Internet to research the history of the JWs and how it had occult roots with the original Bible Students, and then the International Bible Students and finally its being incorporated under the new name of the Jehovah's Witnesses. There are still various different corporate names for the JW organization that can be a long and winding road that you may or may not wish to pursue.

In any event, I have come up with a snapshot of what a JW may experience in their waking up process from the JW culture. Why do people say it's a "waking up" process in the first place? Well, because you have not been taught what most people have been taught about God, creation, or evolution, about how to interact with people, and you are taught immediately that you are separate from the world and exist under a mind controlled haze of JW indoctrination via their overly produced literature spanning decades and hearing the same rhetoric from the platform in the Kingdom Halls each and every week of the year. Now, no one can grow up believing they are separate from the world, we are all humans having the same experiences with learning about this earth and how everything works and we all go to school and get jobs, etc. But the JWs are taught they are no part of the world which lumps them pretty much in the category of a cult-like society. Yes, they do call themselves "The Society" and that's how my mother used to say it when she was trying to teach me from the Bible when I was a little kid. She would say "The Society" says we cannot celebrate Christmas. Oh, okay, the Society. On and on this would go with everything in life, what did the Society say about joining a school sports team? What did the Society say about going to the movies on a Saturday? You get the picture.

Well, I hope this chart below may provide you with a synopsis of the waking up process and the stages most people go through when they move from being an active JW to an inactive one, or one that was disfellowshipped or forced to disassociate from the organization for some type of wrongdoing. It could help some people to skip over a few steps and accelerate their path to personal freedom from the Watch Tower corporation. I wish you luck and much happiness in your personal journey.

Future World

Next week we welcome in the New Year and I hope everyone is doing well and will continue to make plans to have a prosperous life away from the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs). I think this organization truly has had its day and we are seeing that it is losing its influence in our lifetime.

In December 2014, Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin canceled New Year's celebrations due to a severe economic crisis, something no one would do in corporate America. They celebrate no matter what is going on in the nation. In 2017, we saw the complete ban in Russia of the JW organization with properties seized and supposedly, the Watch Tower corporation didn't see a penny from those properties they owned in that country. Yes, I have heard about wheeling and dealing with transferring deeds of properties to the JW membership and trying to hang onto what they have and hopefully sell off the properties so the Watch Tower leadership can pocket some money from those sales.

Interesting that a few years ago is when President Putin was supposedly secretly dating a very famous model and she was raised as a JW. The story goes is that her mother was a well-known dancer and had many suitors while she was a JW. She had an affair and claims to not know the father of her now-famous daughter, who she tried to raise as a JW. Yes, I think you know who I am talking about, it's the famous model Naomi Campbell, raised as a JW when she got her break in modeling and was introduced to American audiences when she had a guest spot on the Bill Cosby Show as a teenager. However, when Naomi grew up and became very famous I wonder if she acted almost like Mata Hari the dancer who was also a spy during WWI, and maybe had a small influence on the decision of President Putin in regards to the Watch Tower corporation operating freely in his country. Who knows, but we know the JWs in that country are still free to worship their own god Jehovah but they can't formally meet and have their own Watch Tower properties.

Ex-JW Naomi Campbell may have influence in Russia and
also dated the billionaire Vladimir Doronin.

There is much speculation on the Internet as to what may happen with the Watch Tower corporation, will it go on-line only, will it just shut down completely, will it downsize and struggle on for many years to come? No, I don't know and probably taking a guess would just be futile. Please know that the corporation is wealthy beyond our imaginations and it can morph into anything it wants since it has followers who live in fear day and night of a god of destruction that will kill them if they don't continue to go to the meetings, preach door-to-door, hand out JW literature, having no true friends only comrades fighting together in a figurative war against this ungodly system of things while they plod on in their lives never progressing, never changing, always under a self-imposed struggle over God vs Satan. It's all a sad cycle of self-abuse going nowhere.

I hope you continue to follow me on this blog site and hope you take some time to support me here and purchase my book if you feel so inclined. I think you will find it interesting to see how I was raised in the organization and read about a few of my personal battles and perhaps you can identify with my story.

In any case, I wish you much health and happiness in the coming year and hope you can find the courage to walk out of the JW organization and make 2018 your year to think about moving the JW policies out of your life and more of your own policies into your life. Policies that involve developing friendships at work, with your neighbors, and think about solid plans for a future right here and now on this planet. Stop thinking about some future world that may or may not exist. Whenever you stop and think about where you are in life and about planning for the future or thinking about past mistakes, you are right here and now in the present. What can you do right now that will benefit yourself? Knowledge is power, not rights, doctrines, edicts, or policies that you may rehearse and memorize and are terrified to defy. Stop and think about the here and now, and you will eventually find your heart's desire.

Speaking Out

Some ex-Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) might be feeling pressured to speak out publicly against the JW religion, whether they were evicted via disfellowshipping or walked away from the organization after becoming inactive in their congregation and are known as a "fader".

May I suggest that you distance yourself from people who are pressuring you into any one direction. Sometimes when you initially decide to never return to the JW organization, you feel very emotional and may want to lash out at someone and feel you need to take some sort of public action. Please know that you do not owe anyone anything, you do not even owe anyone an explanation as to your personal reasons for leaving the JW organization. If you were disfellowshipped for committing some action that was deemed a crime by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, you do not have to share that with anyone. Once you are disfellowshipped or you walked away never to return, that ended your baptismal contract with the organization. Yes, some choose to return because they want to have contact with JW friends and family and that is a personal decision. However, by staying in the organization, a person would have to face the fact they are still supporting their edicts, policies, and tenets, many of which involve letting loved ones die for refusing potentially life-saving medical procedures involving blood or blood products. Many of the JWs' policies support alleged perpetrators of abuse, whether it be against a spouse or a child and place the blame and responsibility on victims to either keep silent, or leave the organization and seek help from law enforcement and other governmental authorities deemed as coming from "Satan's world". However, again, these are personal choices. I could not stay and support a religion that has these abhorrent policies. Just by sitting in a Kingdom Hall, you are showing your support for this destructive religion even if you stopped supporting them monetarily, you are still supporting them by your presence which is something each person needs to think about.

If you are like me and faded from your JW congregation and have decided to never return, I was silent with everyone including my own family members. I simply said it is no longer my truth and left it at that. No JW Elders hunted me down or wanted a firm decision so they could mark me as an "apostate" or to force me into writing a disassociation letter, I wasn't important to the congregation being a single woman, we are at the lowest level of the pyramid. I simply left and never returned and eventually moved out of the area of my congregation and never reconnected with the congregation in my new town. I am here to encourage ex-JWs to not do anything rash when you first leave the organization. After some time, you may want to engage in some sort of anti-JW activism, whether that is talking to people at work, your relatives who may or may not be active JWs, or blogging about your own personal experiences as a JW to help others to see what the religion is really all about. If you feel like setting up a YouTube channel, you must deal with the repercussions of going into the public arena and may face criticism. But again, do not feel pressured to do any sort of public anti-JW activism.

The most important step is to first think about your own recovery from the damaging mind-controlled JW religious group and then think about if you want to engage in any sort of activism. It can be therapeutic for yourself, to share your experiences with like-minded people. But don't be forced into anything or feel inferior simply because you choose to stay quiet.

Facing the fact that the Watch Tower corporation isn't going anywhere anytime soon with or without us so-called "activists" whether we are quiet or very loud about expressing our opinions, can help you in your decision on whether or not you want to engage in anti-JW activism. I don't say this to discourage anyone, but you've got to face reality. Even the richest people on this earth suffer heartache, loss, depression and setbacks and you are no different whether you were born in the JW organization or not, or whether you joined later and have now left. Think about healing and recovery before you go out and face the dragon, perhaps alone and unarmed.

At the end of the day, you've
got to look in that mirror and
be okay with where you are in life.
It is your personal journey to freedom that is important. Start looking at paving your own way in this life. Your happiness comes first but not at the cost of berating others, even current and active JWs have a right to stay in the religion. Turning your focus forward and not looking back at the JW religion or the people who choose to stay, is what will eventually reduce the power and influence of the JW organization. The more people who have the courage to walk out of those Kingdom Halls and never return, are the ones that have a strong impact on those still sitting there who wonder if they are in the right place after all. Your simply walking away might be that one action that will wake people up in your congregation.

Any activism you choose is to benefit yourself and your healing process. Do not think the Watch Tower corporation is going away for good, they are too wealthy for that. Even if their entire membership left today, they can survive on mountains of cash carefully invested in various banks around the globe. They will not suffer, but you will if you don't start planning your escape and think about making a life for yourself and your family right now.
