From Star Trek to Watchtower

Those of us who are former members of the Jehovah's Witness (JW) organization and who are like me, born and raised in it and had no choice but be indoctrinated into its bizarre tenets, we might feel we have to take what's presented to us in the press or on the Internet regarding this organization and feel pressured into gobbling up every news item like a bunch of morons.

I have no interest in watching some of the latest TV shows attempting to expose the JW organization. It's all publicity-grabbing headlines for ratings. I feel no pressure to watch these shows about the JWs because I have lived it. If someone out there benefits from this type of sensational news reporting, fine, it's an individual choice, but no one should be pressured into promoting these TV shows or watching them only to see some ex-JW on there like James Lloyd Evans, a.k.a., John Cedars, who was ousted for allegedly sexting girls and women in his congregations and having a porn addiction and having an uncontrolled masturbation fetish that he brags about in his book and blames the JW Society for it.  Uh, no thanks, I will skip these TV shows with these bogus ex-JW champions for a cause they have no clue about. How do you leave the JWs? Hey, how about sexting the girls and women in your Kingdom Hall and in a few neighboring Halls? That might do it. What a joke the so-called ex-JW community has become.

Some may say there is no organized group of people that can speak on behalf of us ex-JWs, which is true, yet some are pushed forward into the public eye and for some reason, we all have to praise them as our messiah to free us from the slavery we ourselves have already been freed from. We have either walked out of those Kingdom Halls on our own and vowed to never return like I did, and then there is the group that was ousted, driven off, disfellowshipped or shunned and pined away to return and then gave up the fight and decided to find their own salvation in another religious group. Whatever the case, it's an individual choice. Did you see that? Choice.

Another case in point is Trey Bundy, a reporter from the San Francisco Bay Area who was at the bottom of his profession reporting on Star Trek conventions. He was not very skilled and did nothing to set himself apart from any other reporter given routine assignments or working freelance. Now he has turned his attention to the JW organization attempting to make a name for himself and works for another company of so-called reporters who all beg for donations and your cash dollars to do whatever they want and call themselves investigative reporters.

Bundy turned to the JWs for the easy fame he craved
or it was back to the Star Trek conventions:

It is always good when the JWs are being exposed for protecting child abusers within the congregations. I have been privy to this information because my father was an Elder for almost my entire life while I remained a JW until I left about 10 yrs ago. I knew of a few cases that came up in judicial committee hearings and, yes, the abusers were ignored and left alone and the gossip group of sisters in the Kingdom Hall went to work and the abusers moved on to other congregations. It would be something the new congregations would have to find out on their own and deal with it themselves.

Hopefully a few "worldly" people seeing some of these TV broadcasts will think twice before accepting a Bible Study or enter a Kingdom Hall wanting to become a member of the organization. It might be a "buyer beware" type of thing Trey Bundy is doing but other than that, I see no reason to wave that flag of victory that the Watchtower corporation(s) are going down anytime soon.

I had the courage to walk out on my own. It took me a long time and I faded away and no one tracked me down since single women in the congregation hardly matter, especially those like me who left when I was past the shelf life of being of interest to any single or divorced brother in the congregation. They like them young, oh, yes they do, ask Lloyd Evans, the guy who was an Elder for a brief time in his congregation in England whose wife ran away from him because the entire congregation knew what was going on so she moved back to her home country to live with her JW family. Evans followed her because he had no clue how to work for a living and would've been homeless if his JW inlaws didn't let him live in their yet unfinished basement where he resides to this day doing YouTube videos about the JWs since that's all he knows how to do.

Fine, but I don't have to listen. Evans does nothing for the so-called ex-JW community. Ask him about abusing his position as an Elder. He fled to his new congregation to join his wife who now lived with mommy and daddy JW but the allegations followed him there where he was officially ousted as an Elder. No such big judicial committee meeting took place as he opines on his YouTube channel. That's why he never recorded his meeting. It was take it or leave it, meaning, step down as an Elder or we're removing you. Evans elected to not return to the Kingdom Hall and the rest is his story.

Now, Trey Bundy has partnered with Evans because they are both scrambling for publicity and a free ride off the backs of us hard working ex-JWs who don't spend hours on end rehashing the same rhetoric about the JWs and their policies. We are the strong group of ex-JWs who no longer support that organization with our money or by being present at the meetings. We no longer obsess over the JW Broadcasting videos or hang on to every dumb expression coming out of the mouths of the Governing Body of JWs. We have moved on with our lives and hope others will have the courage to do the same.

If you got kicked out the JW organization, it may have been deserved as in the case of Lloyd Evans and his alleged sexting of girls and women in the congregations and his admitted porn addiction. Trey Bundy looks like someone who needs rehab and not proclaim he is any savior of JW abuse victims. He is a guy working for a buck and this is easy wages and headlines for him. Fine, but I don't need to see his TV reports or follow him down his useless path leading to nothing.

Former Bethelite worker Barbara Anderson got the ball rolling over 20 years ago with her exposing of the JWs and their secret list of alleged child abusers. What became of that? Just about nothing. Individual abuse victims should not give up or go away, yet they don't need any ex-JW telling them what to do and none of us can be their saviors. Abuse victims should be encouraged by their own support circle to seek sound advice from a legal team, health care professionals, and licensed counselors, and not from a bunch of lazy YouTubers or a former Star Trek Convention reporter.

Will the JW organization ever go away? That depends on the governments in charge, not on anything else. No matter what crimes the Catholic Church has been accused of and found guilty, they still exist and always will. You see, they are the top of the pyramid. All other major religious bodies exist because of them. Their wealth cannot be quantified, it is too great of an amount. The governments use religion to control various sectors of Society who think they are worshiping God. Once the JWs entered the billionaire boys club, they became a made religion. If they are going down, it will be up to the Jesuits, the top ruling classes of our society, who have allowed the Watchtower into the fold. Selling off their massive real estate holdings in New York was the turning point. Now they are sequestered and safe in the forests of upstate New York where they can expand their global operations. They are building a media center much like what the Scientologists already have with their Scientology TV and, like the Scientologists, they are so wealthy from living off investments and various stocks and funds, they could not care less if they are slammed in the media or if new recruits are slow in coming. Evans and Bundy can continue begging at the table of the JWs, hoping to be a liaison for change, when the Watchtower leadership is laughing all the way to their tables, feasting off dead and dying JWs who are too terrified to disobey them for fear God will kill them.

What can you do? Walk out of those Kingdom Halls and never return. Start your own personal journey to freedom. If you're still relatively young, then get an education, get a job, plan a career, start traveling, open up your small world and see what's outside. Work on supporting yourself and start accessing self-help videos having nothing to do with religion. If you are a religious person, that's okay, there is tons of stuff on YouTube for FREE that you can access with no one living in a basement badgering you for money while they refuse to get a job.

The world is changing, but religion, my dear reader, is here to stay because it serves a purpose. It's time you start living for your own purpose, your own self, and your personal success will be an inspiration to any wife, husband, or kids you may leave behind inside the JW organization.

Valentine's Day is almost here. Love yourself first and
then see who is deserving of your love after that.

What They Fear

I find organized religion has its good and bad points. The good in religion will unite people of all races, genders and economic status and build a strong family unit no matter how you define that personally. All others fall into the category of being controlling, demanding you support them financially even to your own financial ruin, and think that money is evil and the love of money is evil, which I disagree with. You can have a healthy love of anything in this world, including money. Unhealthy love falls into the categories of obsession, control, manipulation, fear, and anxiety.

Some people who have left the Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) organization feel they have to turn their backs on spirituality and on the Bible itself. This is your choice but I think the majority somehow feel they are superior in their thinking post-JW Society, that they are lofty and brilliant in their rejection of God when they are only fools in the making.

I am a spiritual person that explores many varied belief systems since I am no longer under the control of the Watch Tower Society and no longer under the control of the ex-JW cult of fools who throw God in the trash can and follow some uneducated lazy person in a land where the laws are vague and they can bootleg copies of other people's published works, slapping their logo on it and then acting shocked when legal action is threatened unless they make amends. Well, maybe in their part of the world it is legal to bootleg copies of other people's work and sell it under various pseudonyms on the black market and they are so egotistical they brag about it. I understand a child may not realize stealing candy from the grocery store is wrong and they have to be taught although some kids never learn basic manners and ethics from their parents who went from throwing food at them to shut them up to ignoring their existence, telling them to go away and stop bothering mom and dad. However, I am not talking about the antics of a child but of an adult manipulator.

How do you stop being manipulating once you have left a controlling religion? Confidence in yourself that you can and will survive, that you have the time and incentive to live for yourself and stop looking to others for a hand-out. Take stock and see where you are right now and look inward for the answers. Who are you? What do you believe right now? Is someone pressuring you into another mold? Go back to the basics in your life. Do you have a place to live? Food on the table? Start from the beginning and the answers will come to you from inside and not from an outside vulture waiting for you to show up at their doorstep begging for scraps.

What do the ex-JW cults fear? Losing control of a whole new group of people that are ripe for the picking and demonize religion and the Bible because they take zero responsibility for their actions of grifting people out of their hard earned money. People who do not believe in a God or Higher Power think they can make fools of us all and live in a bubble of self-obsession hoping you will not notice that your own life is going nowhere. There are consequences to this life and dumping God is not the answer to any struggles you may be going through.

Some spiritual-based belief systems suggest that this earth is the ark, a globe designed to preserve life throughout eternity with realms of understanding we pass through as we grow old and die in our physical bodies. Don't fear the spiritual world once you dump organized religion and stop it from controlling your every move.

What do cults and many religions fear? Losing control of a whole group of people that they can manipulate and can profit from their fear of death. No one controls your life now or any future lives or your own death. You have the controls and do not let any religious organization tell you differently.

I also have a bulletin, money is not evil, believing in one God or a multiple of Gods is not evil. No one owns the Bible or any ancient collection of writings. God is free to all to access and so are many of the writings from ages gone by, maybe only paying for a book or access to library collections. But do not feel you have to pay for your salvation either giving your money to a religious organization to ensure your future in heaven or a paradise earth, or that you have to pay to free yourself of those religious beliefs.

Religion was designed as a control mechanism when people and the economy gets out of control and spirals downward. Marriage was invented to give women certain property rights and to build a family unit, for the family members to pay taxes to the government and to have certain tax benefits. You can still have a strong family unit sans a marriage certificate, we know that, it's only if a person wants certain tax benefits will they marry or to ensure certain rights for their children. Many laws are changing in what constitutes a marriage which is in response to the demands of the people. But it comes down to controlling people and being aware of how you are being manipulated.

The JW organization goes so far as to tell people to disobey their governments and only obey them, even if it means your death. This is obviously dangerous and the JW organization has no right to tell you what is right or wrong for your family, and no one should disobey their governmental authorities, that is your decision alone to make based on a variety of conditions.

Identifying what you fear now can help you move forward with a plan for yourself and your loved ones. Stop throwing your money [or pearls] before SWINE. Some persons in the ex-JW world as well as the religions of this world can be categorized as swine. A way to decipher some of the obstacles you may be going through right now as you muster up the courage to walk out of those JW Kingdom Halls, I invite you to access the following web page and take advantage of the PDF documents, yes, free of charge:

Fear is probably the first hurdle you must overcome when exiting the JW cult of mind control. You need to ferret out where that fear came from and who implanted it inside your heart, mind and soul. Stop looking for help to leave a cult from another cult, even from a marketing cult. Start storing up treasures here on earth too, not just in heaven, where there is no need for any such treasures, God doesn't need your money. Some scriptures I think, should be taken with a grain of salt. Nothing is beyond your scope now as you take action to leave a cult of beliefs that do not serve you, are not in your best interest, and do nothing to promote your own self-esteem and self-worth. Start here and now and take an assessment of your life. What about your possessions, what can you literally throw out? De-clutter your house, de-clutter that car, that garage, and you will find that you can start thinking about more important matters. Then turn to your inner world, what are your personal beliefs? What spiritual belief patterns no longer serve you but keep you in fear?

Now is a good time to start planning for a real future for yourself and your loved ones. Don't fear money, don't fear the love of money, start viewing it as a tool for you to use for your benefit and to benefit your own family, not someone else's family. Do you feel guilty about this? Having money? Only thinking about yourself? This is because you were never taught that money is for you first, then you look around and see if you can help someone else, not by giving them your money, but helping them to earn their own way in this life.

Gee, I'm not volunteering at a soup kitchen today. That's fine, many social programs are in place to hire people to do that, and in most countries, you are already paying for all the social programs via your tax dollars to help the homeless and disabled, at least the earners who actually pay taxes, not grifters from a virtual reality.

Fear, guilt and then manipulation go together; drop them now. You can turn to books about motivation and self-affirmation videos to help you along your journey out of the Watch Tower Society and out of becoming obsessed with their every move via ex-JW YouTube videos featuring do-nothing people who don't have jobs. Oh gee, Watch Tower is still begging for money, geez, so are the ex-JWs; no difference; they feed at the same garbage trough.

Devil in the Details

You might remember the book and several movies about "The Picture of Dorian Gray" about a handsome young and wealthy man who sells his soul to the Devil to attain everlasting life on earth and retain his youth and beauty. However, as time goes on, he becomes soulless because the Devil took it. This results in Dorian destroying the lives of the people in his inner circle and others who cross his path yet he doesn't care. He lives forever but has no heart, no soul, no compassion. He cares little about any living thing but himself and his own pleasure.

Interesting that I came across the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, who [among other topics], delves into the meaning of the Genesis story in the Bible. His words may interpret why the Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) are soulless and teach the way they do, not that I am implying Steiner knew of the JWs or was providing any commentary on them. He was commenting on the Bible and other writings and teachings.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGGbaoz1lDs

Any person born and raised as a JW like I was, had whatever unique personality they were developing, slowly deconstructed by their JW parents with support from the congregation and encouragement from the JW literature that spouts the opinions and current policies of the President and Governing Body members of the Watch Tower corporation(s).

Nothing has changed with the JWs and their fear tactics about living in the last days of this so-called wicked system of things, that God will soon destroy every non-JW and the Governing Body of anointed men will be whooshed off to heaven and reign with Christ. In the meantime, us humans here on earth with an earthly hope [per JW rules, only a select group of 144,000 will go to heaven], should be devoid of any human emotion. We are not to form attachments with "worldly" people, not form attachments to pets, not pursue the arts, oh, maybe only as a harmless past-time in between meetings and going from door-to-door recruiting new members into their society. I mean pursue the arts professionally, becoming a master at playing the piano, painting, becoming a professional ballet dancer, you get the meaning here. We are to be devoid of human emotion since the arts teaches and encourages you to develop your feelings and emotions, putting aside solely the intellect.

The arts can also help you develop your imagination, maybe hearing music in your head and putting it to paper, or writing a great novel filled with emotion and human compassion. No. The JWs want you to read only their literature and concentrate on how billions of people will be murdered by God at Armageddon, and how only constant study of their literature will hopefully ensure your salvation. The only love they have is for saving themselves and blindly worshiping their Governing Body of men who lead the organization into a wormhole of nothingness. That's why so many JWs become soulless drones because their lives go on and on with regulated boredom and as they reach the end of their lives, they hope Jehovah will resurrect them to a JW paradise that doesn't exist.

Why did God reject the offering of Cain and not Abel in the Bible? Because Cain was a farmer offering the products from his hard labor, of his own unique accomplishments of tilling the soil and producing his own food, not relying on God to provide fruit from the trees or berries from the bushes in the Garden of Eden. Cain got full of himself and was proud of what he produced and offered it to God. The Devil took his soul and that's why he could murder Abel. On the other hand, Abel was a humble shepherd of sheep provided by God. Abel didn't create the sheep out of the soil, they were already there and he had little to do with them multiplying. It was nature [God] that did that. When Abel offered the animals that were created by God himself, God was obviously pleased with that offering.

Artistic pursuits are considered from the Devil. That's why in countless stories you will hear about someone who wants to be a great artist or great performer or musician, and makes a deal with the Devil to make him famous. God doesn't do this; God essentially hates it when you create something out of your own imagination and talent. Humans made those musical instruments. They weren't lying around on the ground or someone finds a flute on their walk through the woods that grew from a tree branch. But we have God-given talents, right? Only when they praise God and to not make yourself proud or famous.

Cain worked hard to cultivate the ground and produce something out of nothing in a sense, while Abel sat around and stared at sheep and slaughtered them as an offering to God. Hmmm, interesting, since the JWs are like this too. Animals are provided by God to eat, and any pets are simply nothing. If you need to move out of your home and can't take those pets with you, so what. The JW is not to be attached to those pets unless they make money for the owner.

I know, there are farmers and every sort of profession in the JW world, however, what are you offering to the organization? Are you pursing the arts? What a waste of time for them. They exist in the intellect and not emotion. They hate an imaginative soul. You work for the organization, not yourself, and who cares if your paycheck is stagnate while the cost of living skyrockets. Oh, rely on Jehovah as you may have to enter Satan's world for a handout. The JWs are intellect only, so what if you don't have money to feed your family - feed at Satan's table via welfare agencies or at homeless shelters. It's a skewed way of life. You can't have fun unless it's something that doesn't make you sad that you can't pursue it all the time. Maybe a game of checkers is as far as they will go to have fun. Maybe stare at a tree on some afternoon with other JWs with their forced fun intervals between their meetings at the Kingdom Hall. But, you can't have emotions and feel sorry for any person that is not a JW.

If you believe in the God of the Bible, it may be interesting to start your own study in the Scriptures but probably not from C.T. Russell. The original Bible Students really don't like their overlords, the JW organization, that still owns the copyright to their literature and that's why nothing new is produced from that original group because a portion goes to the Watch Tower corporations.  Study the scriptures on your own, pick up several Bible versions and commentaries while you move away from the JW bootcamps and start living your own life that includes emotions and having feelings towards other creatures on this planet.

I have said it before, I am a spiritual person and do believe in a God or Gods that created the earth and set everything in motion. Some people believe the earth is only for those tough enough to take it and learn from the experience. Who knows what worlds we will conquer in our future.

Don't just read things on a surface level. Don't just sit and zone out watching some poor soul living in a basement of their JW in-laws begging for money from viewers because that person has no life, no career, no pursuits or hobbies other than feeding at the table of the JWs and providing useless commentary on the drivel coming from the Society.

Start your own journey to freedom from the Watch Tower and I think right now is a good time to start.

Are You a Victim?

In a sense, we are all victims on this planet Earth. In fact, we are born victims. We have the chance of our birth that may be good or bad depending on what type of family we were born into. The fact we were born at all is a mystery and a combination and product of our ancestors who came before us. Some of us are the end of a family line and many families die out each century.

The dictionary definition of a victim is someone who is harmed, injured, killed, or a living creature killed as a religious sacrifice or someone who was duped or tricked. So the word has several meanings.

Were you duped into the Jehovah's Witnesses' (JWs) belief system? Many were and are, down to this day, even in our modern era. Christianity is viewed by some as a cult in itself as it has many strict rules and you will be ostracized if you disobey the God-given 10 commandments and other rules of the Scriptures.

When you finally wake up and realize that the JWs are just another type of cult, you may feel very angry and confused. You may want to dump every type of Christian belief system and stop believing in God altogether. These people become very distraught and that alternative lifestyle offers no hope for the future or for an afterlife. I do believe in God or a group of Gods that formed this planet and the solar systems beyond our own. Our world and life itself is too complicated and exact to not be the product of a creator(s). I feel any person who doubts the existence that some great power in this universe created life, is fooling themselves and hopes to feel better about being duped by the JWs. As if, well, everything is fake, life has no meaning, nothing matters when it's just a cop-out, a way to deny we are responsible for how we behave.

If another Christian belief system brings you peace of mind, then you should pursue it. If you have very strict beliefs of your own and do not want to accept another person's culture, preferences, and beliefs, then you need to think about why you feel that way. No, you don't have to accept everything another person does, but stop the judgment mentality that most Christians teach you to adopt. As I have stated before, I am not a licensed health care professional nor a counselor. I offer my own opinions and life stories here on this blog and in my upcoming revised book where I share my journey with you and offer real life practical advice on dealing with the JW who may be in your life right now and causing you heartache.

I finally realized the JWs' beliefs were not only wrong, but a twisting of Bible verses, plus, they don't practice what they preach. They say they are a loving organization when the opposite is true based on my own experience being born and raised in the religious cult. The JWs' have their own unique take on life and many of their tenets mimic the ancient teachings of the illuminated ones dating back to when animals were sacrificed to false gods, one being, Jehovah. Yes, he is a god like all the others who wanted exclusive devotion and a temple built in their honor. The other gods, you know, Apollo the sun god or the sun or the son of God. There are countless deities that want exclusive devotion and many are dead and gone from human consciousness.

Are you a victim? Only you can answer that question. I suggest you put down the electronics for at least one hour per day and ponder that question. I know, there are countless YouTube videos done by a certain age group that spout they were harmed by the JW Society, but most are part of a marketing cult. I think you can spot them easily if you familiarize yourself with the actual teachings of the JWs if you were never one yourself or were only entrapped very briefly and have no deep knowledge of the secret Society. Many on YouTube simply mimic those who left the organization and devise their own story to portray themselves as victims when it's all fake and all they want are views, clicks and likes since they have no job and don't want one.

Many in the YouTube community join the Scientology network and some join the so-called ex-Scientology marketing network where they conduct meaningless surveys and pretend they were somehow damaged by the JWs. You see, the Scientologists and JWs are in bed together. Sources have alleged that the Scientologists used the JWs as an example and business model to gain followers and coerce the government into getting tax-free status. Both have high-ranking supporters that benefit financially from the existence of these secret societies. Same with the ex-communities of these cults. I have said it before, sometime the JWs get it right by throwing out aberrant members who were caught doing illegal or horrendous things and preyed on the membership.

Am I a victim? Yes, a victim of circumstances because I was born and raised in the JW world and a victim of self-pity when I left the organization. My life did not turn out the way I thought. I should be in Jehovah's earthly paradise right now. But since I was duped and believed the lie, I now suffer the economic consequences from that. College was a sin, pursuing job promotions meant you were worldly and deserved to be marked by the congregation, all that, and yes I have had to cope and continue to cope and seek out a new life path that brings me peace of mind. I now enjoy reading many different books about all kinds of subjects and getting outdoors more, taking long walks in the woods, while I still love shopping and watching classic television and movies. I like catching up on things I missed in the past, pursuing areas of study that interest me, and I like drawing, painting and thinking about my next travel destination.

Turn off the juice folks, step away from the outlet, pull the plug. Step into the natural light of a new day. This is a new day and age we are living in. We don't have to accept everything that is thrown at us.

Care to take a dare? How about expanding your reach beyond the ex-JW YouTube channels and take a different path? Only a suggestion - here is one that may be of interest to the curious and open-minded. Don't worry. No evil spirits can or will enter your mind or body. God gave us free will. Why? To experiment life and enjoy the beauty around us. To find our own path and share our experiences to assist others along their journey. You may find peace of mind and find you are an infinite soul.

Who Controls You?

If you are still an active Jehovah's Witness (JW), then you must honestly answer that you are not in control of your own thoughts, actions, or beliefs. You may feel secure in the fact that you are not in control and can't move right or left, but must face forward and be focused only on the JW organization. You may like to simply sit back and zone out and listen to the instructions from the JW literature and from the weekly public talks and the regional conventions that are held throughout the year at various locations only to find out that you are stagnate in life, having no real friends, a job instead of a career that you actually enjoy, and maybe a family that is only with you because of the ties within the congregation.

Other persons are literally starting to wake up to the reality that the Watch Tower Corporation knows little about how to guide you in this life, to prosper physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. You may think I am wrong in saying this. Well, compare where you were five years ago and where you are today. You are the same, right? Still doing the treadmill of weekly meetings, door-to-door recruitment activities or standing my a JW literature cart thinking this counts as preaching the good news of God's Kingdom to the public when you are just staring down at your phone reading text messages waiting for your mandated hours to be up and you can go home and sit and wait for the next JW meeting at the Kingdom Hall.

Where will you be in five years keeping up this same JW routine? You will be the same. You will be stagnate in life. You may think this is fine, I am still young - uh, right, that is the point. The JW leadership of men at the headquarters compound in the New York area, want to steal your youth and destroy any chance you may have in this life. Once you reach 30, 40, or 50, and see that your life meant nothing but pushing JW literature in peoples' hands, and your own life is stagnate, never growing, learning, prospering financially so you can work towards a safe, bright future, no, the Watch Tower has stolen your dreams from you and now that you have woken up at maybe 30, 40 or 50, you see you can no longer afford to go to college and may not have the strength to go to college. Even if you decide to go back to school and you are past 40 years old, no employer is hiring a college grad at 40, they are hiring that 21 year old or the 25 year old who completed college in a profession they chose.

How do you stop other people from controlling you? How do you start making your own decisions? Obviously, if you still live at home with your parents, you must obey them. However, it doesn't mean you can't start planning now for your future. High School and community colleges offer career counseling. Don't be afraid if your parents threaten you with eviction. Start now and think about forming some solid friendships outside of the JW culture. You can do this by confiding in a friend now, tell them your plans. You need a solid foundation in this life first, then you can explore other options once you are stable in your life.

If you are an adult and decide to think for yourself, it can be very scary. Seek out non-JW online self-help videos and websites. Seek out friends at work who may or may not be religious. Religion really has nothing to do with this. You can be a spiritual person and realize that a Grand Creator or Godlike Being made this earth and all life without joining any religious group.

Are you constantly watching the official JW Broadcasting videos? Have you noticed the large blue screen behind the speaker? It has wavy lines going through the constantly moving image that can cause a hypnotic effect upon the viewer as you listen to the speaker's rehearsed and scripted lines that are meant to draw in the viewer to start agreeing with the statements made. They show a video of someone crying to get the viewer to cry or show you a sad lonely person who needs JW literature crammed on bookshelves in order to be happy. They may show you a vision of their manufactured scene of the "new system", a future world they think they can promise will happen, but they can't. No human has power over your life or your death. No human can give you everlasting life on any paradise in heaven or on earth. Yet, this is what they are selling to you. Click off the JW channel and you will slowly start to think more rationally.

The blue colors, spheres, and images are commonly used by the U.S. Government,
the United Nations, and by the Freemasons, as well as in their logos as do the JWs.
That video screen behind the speaker is constantly in motion.
Image is from JW.ORG

The monthly JW broadcasting videos are designed to funnel you into a specific direction:

1) Calm, slow way of speaking.
2) Hypnotic background.
3) May include an experience from a third-world country to make you embarrassed about how much you have in the U.S. and in Western societies.
4) Get you to feel sad and start to cry over some poor JW in another part of the world having to walk barefoot for miles to a Kingdom Hall.
5) Then, their vision of everlasting life on an earthly paradise.
6) Finally, donate to their world-wide work.

Hey, I don't listen to those JW videos! I watch only commentary on them by an alleged ex-JW who views himself as an expert on the JW religion! Wrong. Turn off the commentary videos and websites too. They are designed to sucker you into their own world of mind control techniques, getting you hooked on their YouTube channels, clicking on their ads, and getting you hooked on every word that comes from the JW headquarters and somehow, making you feel you need to know what they are doing or saying at every moment. Trust me, you don't. You need to turn away from these types of YouTube channels and start focusing on that one person that needs to get moving and get on with their life, that being you, dear reader.

The JW organization never changes. They come up with new schemes, new videos, new gimmicks, all designed to make you think they are moving forward, when they are moving in circles, desperate to come up with more cash grab schemes from recycled gimmicks that worked decades ago and they update them for today's membership. They want you sitting home and afraid of the outside world unless you have JW literature in your hand or pushing a JW literature cart around a mall. Same with the constant ex-JW YouTube commentary videos that seem to get longer and longer in length, making you sit there for 2 hours or more listening to their opinions or simply insulting the Governing Body and their monthly broadcasts creating frustration inside of the viewer. Turn off these useless videos and start looking towards something that will bring you away from the mind controlling techniques used by Watch Tower and those who feel they have left yet are still obsessed with their every move. The JW leadership fuel ignorance and so do some ex-JW YouTubers, as if you can't think for yourself.

Start a journal and get your thoughts on paper. Spend time with yourself away from interruptions for at least an hour per day. Ask yourself these questions. They may help sort things out for you and provide you with new clarity in your life:

1) What are you attracted to that you take for granted?

2) What repels you?

3) Where did your reactions to these questions come from in the first place? Where did your opinions come from? A mental barrier goes up with certain words with a negative association. Ask yourself why you react in a certain way to words, thoughts, or impressions. Not just related to the JW organization, but to life. Where did your world view come from?

4) Are you not open to other beliefs or opinions? Why can't men cry? Why do women have to be cooks and housewives? You get the message here.

5) How can you change your response to the paradym?

6) How does it affect your health and energy?

7) What is the path to greater awareness or to your own self-destruction?

Get to the root of why you feel a certain way. Is it taken for granted, something good or bad? Have a fresh perspective on things and form no opinions at first. Explore new things in your life away from hearing someone else give their own opinions, whether it's critical or not of the Watch Tower teachings. Don't let other people give you an opinion, start with looking objectively at an issue or policy of the Watch Tower organization.

Don't keep looking for validation for what you choose to believe or not. Take things one step at a time, there is no rush to leave the JWs, but you can start distancing yourself by missing meetings, stop going out in their preaching working, take a step back and tell people you need to sort things out for yourself and take a sabbatical. Do not let threats of death and destruction sway your decision to leave the JWs, but again, there is no hurry. Work at your own pace.

The Bible and many belief systems are freely available to anyone. Fear is the first thing to set aside, including, being on your own. I was on my own when I first left the Watch Tower Society. I made my own way and continue to express myself in this blog and seek out new interests and read many books all the time. I have suggested YouTube channels in the footer of this blog from ex-JWs and non-JWs alike. I sometimes link to a good video from an ex-JW in my blog entries that I think are helpful.

A link to a very good NON-JW video to watch on this subject of mind control is below.

Once you stop being afraid to separate yourself from the JW mindset, you will find your life path starts to reveal itself to you. You will not regret it as you free yourself from the mind controlling effects of the JWs.

Shortcuts

Everyone is on their own path and proceeds at their own pace when recovering from anything, whether it be some sort of addictive behavior that interrupts your ability to function on a daily basis or to break free from a religious belief system. It can take almost a lifetime. I was born in and raised as a Jehovah's Witness (JW) and wish I had a shortcut to my recovery. As described in my book [note the sidebar of this blog] it took me several years to realize I had been indoctrinated into a religious cult of sorts, I know, many people don't like using that word but it was a religious order that did have its own rites, rituals, and strict belief system.

When I was first waking up from my JW indoctrination and attempting to transition away the JW organization, I went to the Internet to research the history of the JWs and how it had occult roots with the original Bible Students, and then the International Bible Students and finally its being incorporated under the new name of the Jehovah's Witnesses. There are still various different corporate names for the JW organization that can be a long and winding road that you may or may not wish to pursue.

In any event, I have come up with a snapshot of what a JW may experience in their waking up process from the JW culture. Why do people say it's a "waking up" process in the first place? Well, because you have not been taught what most people have been taught about God, creation, or evolution, about how to interact with people, and you are taught immediately that you are separate from the world and exist under a mind controlled haze of JW indoctrination via their overly produced literature spanning decades and hearing the same rhetoric from the platform in the Kingdom Halls each and every week of the year. Now, no one can grow up believing they are separate from the world, we are all humans having the same experiences with learning about this earth and how everything works and we all go to school and get jobs, etc. But the JWs are taught they are no part of the world which lumps them pretty much in the category of a cult-like society. Yes, they do call themselves "The Society" and that's how my mother used to say it when she was trying to teach me from the Bible when I was a little kid. She would say "The Society" says we cannot celebrate Christmas. Oh, okay, the Society. On and on this would go with everything in life, what did the Society say about joining a school sports team? What did the Society say about going to the movies on a Saturday? You get the picture.

Well, I hope this chart below may provide you with a synopsis of the waking up process and the stages most people go through when they move from being an active JW to an inactive one, or one that was disfellowshipped or forced to disassociate from the organization for some type of wrongdoing. It could help some people to skip over a few steps and accelerate their path to personal freedom from the Watch Tower corporation. I wish you luck and much happiness in your personal journey.

Future World

Next week we welcome in the New Year and I hope everyone is doing well and will continue to make plans to have a prosperous life away from the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs). I think this organization truly has had its day and we are seeing that it is losing its influence in our lifetime.

In December 2014, Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin canceled New Year's celebrations due to a severe economic crisis, something no one would do in corporate America. They celebrate no matter what is going on in the nation. In 2017, we saw the complete ban in Russia of the JW organization with properties seized and supposedly, the Watch Tower corporation didn't see a penny from those properties they owned in that country. Yes, I have heard about wheeling and dealing with transferring deeds of properties to the JW membership and trying to hang onto what they have and hopefully sell off the properties so the Watch Tower leadership can pocket some money from those sales.

Interesting that a few years ago is when President Putin was supposedly secretly dating a very famous model and she was raised as a JW. The story goes is that her mother was a well-known dancer and had many suitors while she was a JW. She had an affair and claims to not know the father of her now-famous daughter, who she tried to raise as a JW. Yes, I think you know who I am talking about, it's the famous model Naomi Campbell, raised as a JW when she got her break in modeling and was introduced to American audiences when she had a guest spot on the Bill Cosby Show as a teenager. However, when Naomi grew up and became very famous I wonder if she acted almost like Mata Hari the dancer who was also a spy during WWI, and maybe had a small influence on the decision of President Putin in regards to the Watch Tower corporation operating freely in his country. Who knows, but we know the JWs in that country are still free to worship their own god Jehovah but they can't formally meet and have their own Watch Tower properties.

Ex-JW Naomi Campbell may have influence in Russia and
also dated the billionaire Vladimir Doronin.

There is much speculation on the Internet as to what may happen with the Watch Tower corporation, will it go on-line only, will it just shut down completely, will it downsize and struggle on for many years to come? No, I don't know and probably taking a guess would just be futile. Please know that the corporation is wealthy beyond our imaginations and it can morph into anything it wants since it has followers who live in fear day and night of a god of destruction that will kill them if they don't continue to go to the meetings, preach door-to-door, hand out JW literature, having no true friends only comrades fighting together in a figurative war against this ungodly system of things while they plod on in their lives never progressing, never changing, always under a self-imposed struggle over God vs Satan. It's all a sad cycle of self-abuse going nowhere.

I hope you continue to follow me on this blog site and hope you take some time to support me here and purchase my book if you feel so inclined. I think you will find it interesting to see how I was raised in the organization and read about a few of my personal battles and perhaps you can identify with my story.

In any case, I wish you much health and happiness in the coming year and hope you can find the courage to walk out of the JW organization and make 2018 your year to think about moving the JW policies out of your life and more of your own policies into your life. Policies that involve developing friendships at work, with your neighbors, and think about solid plans for a future right here and now on this planet. Stop thinking about some future world that may or may not exist. Whenever you stop and think about where you are in life and about planning for the future or thinking about past mistakes, you are right here and now in the present. What can you do right now that will benefit yourself? Knowledge is power, not rights, doctrines, edicts, or policies that you may rehearse and memorize and are terrified to defy. Stop and think about the here and now, and you will eventually find your heart's desire.
