Time to Topple the Emperor with no Clothes

Even though the thought of James Lloyd Evans without clothes is repulsive, it's time this Emperor is exposed in the community of Jehovah's Witnesses and those who have left.

As many know, Lloyd Evans used to be known as John Cedars and now has gained popularity on YouTube and goes by the name of Lloyd Evans even though James is his real first name but sometimes in the Welsh culture, they are given three names but use only the middle and last. I have no idea about Evans' ethnicity and it's not relevant anyway.

His own family, meaning primarily his own father and sister, have completely separated from Evans when he was outed in their own Kingdom Hall many years ago in England. Reports that came out of his hometown were that Evans was sexting girls and women in the Kingdom Hall. He allegedly sent photos of his private parts to women in the Kingdom Hall when he was serving as an Elder and married. Later it was alleged, he met up with another sister in the Hall and had sex, while Evans was a married Elder in the congregation.

The Elders had to oust the pervert and kick him out as an Elder. Then Evans cried that he was shunned, his wife went back to her home in Croatia and Evans followed her and avoided a Judicial Committee meeting to disfellowship him in his Kingdom Hall back home in England.

Then Evans gets on YouTube to cry victim and the Elders in the Croatian Hall were going to disfellowship him but he wrote a disassociation letter and left the organization before he could be fired, in a sense.

Now, the perverted deviant has done it again with him being outed on the Internet, on Reddit, on YouTube as cheating on his wife once again and Evans admits it but says he needed to go to Thailand because he apparently needed a break and was suicidal and allegedly banged some whores in Thailand over the Christmas and New Year's holiday sans the wife and kids [obviously].

Here are some excerpts from the Goodreads.com website of comments from real people who have purchased his 50 lbs book of nothing, filled with plagiarized information that he downloaded from the Internet about the history of the Watchtower and slapped his name on it as the author.

KM Marie YouTube channel has shared a video from the Fateful Slave YouTube Channel that expertly provides an opinion of the latest Evans scandal with the hookers in Thailand and how we should be concerned about this as Evans is the self-proclaimed leader of the ex-JW community when he's a fake. It's time to fire the Thailand Tom Cat.

Following are excerpts from real comments taken from Goodreads.com as commentary on Lloyd's book, "The Reluctant Apostate" when it should have been titled, "The Grifting Apostate."

When is Lloyd going to return the donations he collected for a Spanish version of his book? When is he going to return the donations he collected for a lawsuit he would be filing against some persons in the ex-JW community? He's a fake, folks.

You don't need a narcissist to help you leave a narcissistic organization. You can leave the Watchtower on your own and I invite you to continue to read this blog and access the KM Marie YouTube channel.

What They Fear

I find organized religion has its good and bad points. The good in religion will unite people of all races, genders and economic status and build a strong family unit no matter how you define that personally. All others fall into the category of being controlling, demanding you support them financially even to your own financial ruin, and think that money is evil and the love of money is evil, which I disagree with. You can have a healthy love of anything in this world, including money. Unhealthy love falls into the categories of obsession, control, manipulation, fear, and anxiety.

Some people who have left the Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) organization feel they have to turn their backs on spirituality and on the Bible itself. This is your choice but I think the majority somehow feel they are superior in their thinking post-JW Society, that they are lofty and brilliant in their rejection of God when they are only fools in the making.

I am a spiritual person that explores many varied belief systems since I am no longer under the control of the Watch Tower Society and no longer under the control of the ex-JW cult of fools who throw God in the trash can and follow some uneducated lazy person in a land where the laws are vague and they can bootleg copies of other people's published works, slapping their logo on it and then acting shocked when legal action is threatened unless they make amends. Well, maybe in their part of the world it is legal to bootleg copies of other people's work and sell it under various pseudonyms on the black market and they are so egotistical they brag about it. I understand a child may not realize stealing candy from the grocery store is wrong and they have to be taught although some kids never learn basic manners and ethics from their parents who went from throwing food at them to shut them up to ignoring their existence, telling them to go away and stop bothering mom and dad. However, I am not talking about the antics of a child but of an adult manipulator.

How do you stop being manipulating once you have left a controlling religion? Confidence in yourself that you can and will survive, that you have the time and incentive to live for yourself and stop looking to others for a hand-out. Take stock and see where you are right now and look inward for the answers. Who are you? What do you believe right now? Is someone pressuring you into another mold? Go back to the basics in your life. Do you have a place to live? Food on the table? Start from the beginning and the answers will come to you from inside and not from an outside vulture waiting for you to show up at their doorstep begging for scraps.

What do the ex-JW cults fear? Losing control of a whole new group of people that are ripe for the picking and demonize religion and the Bible because they take zero responsibility for their actions of grifting people out of their hard earned money. People who do not believe in a God or Higher Power think they can make fools of us all and live in a bubble of self-obsession hoping you will not notice that your own life is going nowhere. There are consequences to this life and dumping God is not the answer to any struggles you may be going through.

Some spiritual-based belief systems suggest that this earth is the ark, a globe designed to preserve life throughout eternity with realms of understanding we pass through as we grow old and die in our physical bodies. Don't fear the spiritual world once you dump organized religion and stop it from controlling your every move.

What do cults and many religions fear? Losing control of a whole group of people that they can manipulate and can profit from their fear of death. No one controls your life now or any future lives or your own death. You have the controls and do not let any religious organization tell you differently.

I also have a bulletin, money is not evil, believing in one God or a multiple of Gods is not evil. No one owns the Bible or any ancient collection of writings. God is free to all to access and so are many of the writings from ages gone by, maybe only paying for a book or access to library collections. But do not feel you have to pay for your salvation either giving your money to a religious organization to ensure your future in heaven or a paradise earth, or that you have to pay to free yourself of those religious beliefs.

Religion was designed as a control mechanism when people and the economy gets out of control and spirals downward. Marriage was invented to give women certain property rights and to build a family unit, for the family members to pay taxes to the government and to have certain tax benefits. You can still have a strong family unit sans a marriage certificate, we know that, it's only if a person wants certain tax benefits will they marry or to ensure certain rights for their children. Many laws are changing in what constitutes a marriage which is in response to the demands of the people. But it comes down to controlling people and being aware of how you are being manipulated.

The JW organization goes so far as to tell people to disobey their governments and only obey them, even if it means your death. This is obviously dangerous and the JW organization has no right to tell you what is right or wrong for your family, and no one should disobey their governmental authorities, that is your decision alone to make based on a variety of conditions.

Identifying what you fear now can help you move forward with a plan for yourself and your loved ones. Stop throwing your money [or pearls] before SWINE. Some persons in the ex-JW world as well as the religions of this world can be categorized as swine. A way to decipher some of the obstacles you may be going through right now as you muster up the courage to walk out of those JW Kingdom Halls, I invite you to access the following web page and take advantage of the PDF documents, yes, free of charge:

Fear is probably the first hurdle you must overcome when exiting the JW cult of mind control. You need to ferret out where that fear came from and who implanted it inside your heart, mind and soul. Stop looking for help to leave a cult from another cult, even from a marketing cult. Start storing up treasures here on earth too, not just in heaven, where there is no need for any such treasures, God doesn't need your money. Some scriptures I think, should be taken with a grain of salt. Nothing is beyond your scope now as you take action to leave a cult of beliefs that do not serve you, are not in your best interest, and do nothing to promote your own self-esteem and self-worth. Start here and now and take an assessment of your life. What about your possessions, what can you literally throw out? De-clutter your house, de-clutter that car, that garage, and you will find that you can start thinking about more important matters. Then turn to your inner world, what are your personal beliefs? What spiritual belief patterns no longer serve you but keep you in fear?

Now is a good time to start planning for a real future for yourself and your loved ones. Don't fear money, don't fear the love of money, start viewing it as a tool for you to use for your benefit and to benefit your own family, not someone else's family. Do you feel guilty about this? Having money? Only thinking about yourself? This is because you were never taught that money is for you first, then you look around and see if you can help someone else, not by giving them your money, but helping them to earn their own way in this life.

Gee, I'm not volunteering at a soup kitchen today. That's fine, many social programs are in place to hire people to do that, and in most countries, you are already paying for all the social programs via your tax dollars to help the homeless and disabled, at least the earners who actually pay taxes, not grifters from a virtual reality.

Fear, guilt and then manipulation go together; drop them now. You can turn to books about motivation and self-affirmation videos to help you along your journey out of the Watch Tower Society and out of becoming obsessed with their every move via ex-JW YouTube videos featuring do-nothing people who don't have jobs. Oh gee, Watch Tower is still begging for money, geez, so are the ex-JWs; no difference; they feed at the same garbage trough.

Waking Hypnosis

I came across this phenomenon on a YouTube channel that I have as a suggested resource for ex-Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs) [in the footer of this blog], and then expanded my research on the topic on various sites on the Internet.

The video was done by Gordon Smith-Duran a few years ago and it may help as an introduction to this topic.

When we were all JWs, we were strictly banned from engaging in any sort of hypnosis techniques and were banned from watching any type of hypnosis session whether it was something performed on a talk show on television or as a game in a nightclub setting, and obviously were further prohibited from performing any sort of self-hypnosis or meditation and yoga on our own. Why is that do you think? The JWs say it has origins in the occult, that you will let some sort of genuine demonic being enter your body and you will be haunted and driven insane. Okay, stop and think why the JW leadership would put these types of fears into its membership, especially since birth. I have clear memories of being terrified of demons, I suffered from night terrors, and nightmares of the time of the end that is talked about ad nauseam at their public meetings and in their literature.

So why fear hypnosis? Why fear meditation and introspection unless you are chanting some verse about Jehovah God or staring at a paragraph out of Watch Tower literature and meditating on the words or in passages of their own Bible translation? Because you will see how easily the human mind is influenced and you will start repeating rhetoric in your day to day life that was placed there by a third-party. They are no longer your own true thoughts or beliefs. If the Watch Tower corporation allows you to engage in hypnosis sessions with a therapist, you will be influenced in a positive direction, an independent direction away from the mind-numbing influences of the Watch Tower corporation. Now I say this with the intention that therapists are well-meaning persons, having your best interests at heart and want you to become an independent self-reliant individual and deal with whatever problems that are holding you back from that goal of achieving your life's purpose.

Watch Tower will tell you that your life's purpose is to serve only them and to have a job to pay your own expenses, yet give a monthly stipend to your local congregation, plus an amount that goes straight to Watch Tower headquarters to keep their "worldwide" work going of amassing real estate and employing unpaid labor to do their bidding. Yes, their permanent residents at their headquarters in New York and other locations around the world at Branch Offices, they do get a monthly stipend, but it is only to cover immediate expenses. When you either decide to leave on your own or are no longer of use and evicted, then you are at ground zero in your life and have to figure out how to support yourself, maybe a spouse, and most just move back home with their parents since they have no other options. We are talking about grown adults moving back home with mom and dad, one man I knew personally was evicted from the Watch Tower headquarters in New York since they were eliminating his job [as well as others] and consolidating. This man was about 35 years old at the time and had zero college since he went straight to work at "Bethel" as the JWs call it, the headquarters in New York, and only worked for them. He was unprepared for the real world and just lives with his mom trying to figure out what to do with his live inside those walls of the Watch Tower.

So what is waking hypnosis? It's what happens at every meeting of the JWs. They lead you down a path. For example:

Speaker: I remember when I was a boy, I used to play outside and my mother never worried about me. Our neighborhood was safe. Television had fun cartoons and good movies were available that supported a strong family unit. Nowadays, you see how everything has changed, even in your own life, right?

Audience nods their heads in agreement. The room is silent save for the humming of the sound equipment, glaring overhead fluorescent lights make you blink a bit more often than usual.

Speaker: Now think about what you see on television news reports. Violence in your own neighborhood. You could never go out as a child now and play on your own, you may be kidnapped, you may suffer being hit by a drunk driver, violence is now a part of our regular life and it frightens us.

Audience nods their heads in agreement.

The speaker eventually leads you to a path that only the JWs can save you from this dilemma. Our world is so violent, we are in danger every day of our lives. We start to feel anxious and confused. The speaker offers you the solution of the Watch Tower as the only way out. Read, study, and speak only of Jehovah God, read only the JW literature, be fearful of reading any other material that may lead you away from the JWs beliefs.

The speaker will then throw in the fear of Satan the Devil. Oh, he is out to get you personally. Do not open yourself up to any type of therapy, instruction, or counseling outside of the JW literature or talking with your Elders in your congregation. You are slowly becoming aware of waking hypnosis.

In contrast, in most cases you've got to agree with your boss if he/she is a domineering person and one-sided and you've got to hang onto your job. So your boss would say, "ordering updated computers is a really bad idea, RIGHT??" And you would say, right! I agree. That is not waking hypnosis. You are making a conscience decision to agree with your boss since you are in survival mode to keep your job.

Waking hypnosis is when you are led down a path, you hear a long story you can relate to, then the speaker convinces you they have the only one solution. Don't go thinking on your own or searching for answers for yourself, no, stick with Watch Tower, that is your only path to salvation.

Now obviously, if you identify as a Christian, you may need to switch up your thinking that the Bible is the path to your salvation, not any group or organization. Research many different Bible versions and start discovering what is right for yourself in this life. If you are non-Christian, then the JWs are not an issue with you, since you would be rejecting all organizations that use the Bible in their teachings.

Waking hypnosis is what the JWs practice on each other when they learn their new language and jargon. When you are studying with someone to become a JW, you immediately start picking up on their terms, "worldly people", "out in the world", "fear the demons, they want you to turn away from Jehovah", all fear tactics and the JWs start to implant thoughts in your head that never existed and you would not entertain on your own.

Start thinking about your true self. Why were you put on this earth? What do you personally like to do? Becoming introspective is not a bad thing. It will start to clear the fog inside of your brain put there by years of indoctrination as a JW. Fear is a huge factor you have to deal with. Are you afraid of meditating on anything not coming from the Watch Tower corporation? Why? How about listening to calm music and lay down or sit still for 15 minutes and think about what you are afraid of. Who put those fears inside of you?

When JWs start to wake up from their self-hypnotic state, it can be frightening. Like, waking up a child who is sleep walking and you startle them and they run and hide. Why do you think so many ex-JWs on YouTube are posting videos of their protesting against the JWs? It's a break in their programming and we all react differently when we are waking up to our hypnotic state of mind, a state we have been living in for many years.

I am not against any active protesting of the JWs at their conventions or Kingdom Halls since the persons doing the protesting have little control over how they will react to the waking up process. Some prefer to just walk away from the JWs, and that is perfectly fine, you never have to do anything. Don't think you have to jump in front of a YouTube camera and start pouring out your heart to strangers online, trying to get their approval for leaving the Watch Tower corporation.

You need to heal yourself first, and then take small steps to clear your mind of the thoughts and impressions placed there by the Watch Tower leadership. Again, I have suggested books and websites on this blog site to get you started. I do not suggest you access any sites that specifically target the Watch Tower corporation or obsess over their monthly podcasts. That will not clear your mind of the JWs mindset or beliefs. It will keep you trapped and stagnate. You want to move away from the Watch Tower corporation and seek out ways to improve your own situation right now, and plan a good solid foundation for a future away from all the programming that was placed inside of you by the Watch Tower corporation.

The Annual Tree Sacrifice

How many trees die for the Christmas celebrations each year? Christmas is almost a global celebration in this day and age, it's not just in Western culture but everywhere since it means corporations make a lot of money with making it almost a law that everyone celebrate Christmas and start buying tons of products and get them gift wrapped and placed under the mandatory Christmas tree each year.

Growing up as a Jehovah's Witness (JW), I only experienced Christmas when we lived near my "worldly" paternal grandparents who were devout Catholics, and Christmas meant midnight mass and having a devotion and reverence to Jesus Christ who died for all of us, that we may have everlasting life in a paradise. My grandparents had a beautiful large Christmas tree in their home that filled an entire corner of the living room where all the presents under that tree were mine.

The adults didn't exchange gifts but they had lots of food and wine and I still have a memory of my grandfather giving me a taste of whiskey in a tiny glass. I always had a love of horses from birth and one year I have a particular memory of a gift that was a metal truck horse trailer filled with plastic horses, an arena I pieced together and tiny bales of hay. When we left the celebration and got back home, my present was placed in a closet and I never played with it again. My mother told me it was off limits and to not take it out of the box. For kids, time really means nothing so I don't know how long it was after that Christmas with my grandparents that we packed up and moved away from them and somehow that gift they gave me didn't make it into our boxes for the movers.

Since we were now alone without any worldly influences from non-JW family members, we were fully engulfed in the JW congregation we attended and had no friends or contact with any non-JW on a personal level. Any outsider was treated with cold detachment and politeness, but nothing else. Christmases came and went as I wondered if we would ever have a big Christmas tree in our home like my grandparents had. I never asked my parents about it, I just waited and wondered.

Actual photo of the annual Christmas tree
display at Union Square in San Francisco
that I remember seeing as a child.
My parents liked road trips to San Francisco since we lived in the country and I saw the biggest Christmas tree imaginable in a department store. The storefront was all glass leading up to the top floor, it was all open so you could see all the floors and the Christmas tree was on the ground floor reaching up to the top. I never saw anything more beautiful in my life. I told my mom I wanted to see it from the top and my mother said no, we don't celebrate Christmas. My father said nothing as we walked past the storefront and for some reason, it caused me deep embarrassment that I asked to see the tree top, since I wanted to see all the decorations and what was on the top of the tree. I don't know why I had that reaction but I felt cut to the heart. My mother's response was so cold and mean, like I had said something horrible that other people could hear.

Neiman Marcus, San Francisco, CA.

Now that I have left the JW organization, I have never had a Christmas tree in my own home. I still feel a detachment from the celebration. I don't mind that other people celebrate it and string lights around their homes, it can be very pretty, but I don't care about it. I do get a bit troubled by all the trees that are cut down for the holiday and then are thrown in the garbage like trash. I feel that people have no respect for nature and this annual tree sacrifice should stop, but then I stop and think, why? Why do I feel so upset about that? Why do I feel sorry for the trees? They are cut down and dragged into homes and then dumped in the street or in garbage bins like they were never living, beautiful things.

I find it extremely humorous when I read about people so devoted to their non-belief in God, they believe in nothing, no Higher Power, no Grand Creator, nothing, not even in any sort of afterlife, yet some go nuts if they can't have that Christmas tree in their home whether they have JW family members or not who would object to such a display. Even some ex-JWs who have left God behind race out and buy that Christmas tree. I consider myself a spiritual person and do believe in a Creator of all this but not of the Christian God of the Bible, however, Christmas holds no special meaning for me, I can take it or leave it.

But then I wonder, well, I guess the Christians have adopted this time of year to celebrate the birth of Christ and it's really only a secular holiday to get you to separate your hard earned cash from your wallet and has little if anything to do with spirituality. So there are always two sides to every coin.

What am I doing this year? No, I still do not want a Christmas tree in my home, not even a small one, it holds no value or meaning of anything to me. It's just a tree sitting in my house that I have to clean up and haul it outside to be picked up by the garbage men come the New Year. I do enjoy the colors of the season, scented candles, and gathering with friends or taking a long trip to the snow and renting a cabin and enjoying hiking and sitting by the fireplace at night.

I like this time of the year with the Winter coming and I cherish the memories I have of my paternal grandparents and of their honest and sincere kindness and religious devotion at Christmas and going to mass. I remember kneeling with my grandmother at her altar in her home with small porcelain idols of the Virgin Mary and tiny religious paintings of the Christ, as she taught me how to pray on the rosary with each bead a separate prayer and her love remains a strong memory that makes me smile to this day.
